"I was thinking... do you think Irene would like to go to Ballet? Madame von Tush isn't bad, but I have feet for BOOTs not for ballet. Maybe she could go instead. It's already paid for..."

"Well... if the teacher is reporting on a student..."

"Mama never went to any of the recitals anyways." She says, with affected disinterest, focusing on her shoes. "She just wants to say that I am in ballet to her friends. And piano. And French class. And she said when I was older I could be finished at school, but I don't know what THAT meant..."

"Oh... yeah, we'll work on that."

"We have a few years to avoid it."

Pepper almost slide ins "Baroness?"

"Don't look!" Grete yelps, still in petticoats and ribbon.

Pepper blinks then says "Wow. " Then covers her eyes and lies "Didn't see anything in there. Baroness I'm sorry to intrude. "

Sparrow spreads her wings - a screen!

"If it is an emergency, I want you to intrude."

"I would say so... we have Chimerical Blizzard moving in, and it might be sentient... it's got a monster in it"

About to slip off to change, Grete's eyes widen. "A MONSTER?" Sounding excited!

Pepper is clearly wanting to say "it has a HUGE FUCKING Monster in it" but she's holding that in

" It certainly looks like it. I know one shouldn't judge but this thing is pure night mare energy" Pepper says

"I'll get my boots!" Grete scrambles off to her room, not wanting to miss it!

"Pepper, alert Redfang and our fighters - arm up!"

Sparrow rushes to get hself bundled up and armored, also!

And out they go... the thanes and knights gather out to assemble, Redfang says "Baroness, that centaur fellow ROss is already ahead of us. Said he wanted to get a good look. I can't tell if he's a fool or brave or knows something we don't"

Nessa, hurrying up. "Why is my dad out there? He's not a warrior!" hooves clattering softly as she shifts out of the way of the assembling folk.

"Nessa, get your mom, too! All hands on deck!"

Rose is not short coming

"I.. I... yes!" Trotting over to quickly catch her mom up with what she heard. "...And Dad is OUT THERE."

"Clarence, Hope - watch the kids, prepare warm vittles and bandages!"

Grete come skidding through a door with boots and overalls and winter coat and a CROWBAR she found somewhere, maybe in a garage. "Let's go! I'm ready!"

Nessa joins Clarence and starts helping with gathering supplies, or watching the childlings - whatever task she is put to.

"Ok, roll out!" Sparrow half expects to see Ashlee in the mix, too.

Irene is Helping! Fetching supplies for Hope, first.

As they move out, they find Ross on a nearby rise, not a proper mountain, but a flat area where hooves can stand firm. Snow flows and he appears to be trying something

Sparrow wades forward, into the wind. "Ross, what are your instincts telling you?"

"Well, as a park ranger I'd know all about the basic science... but..crazy as it sounds, right now it's mostly wanting to scare... and it's angry and frustrated... I think you can stop it, Baroness.. or dim it. It's not going near the hold. It's like it's a fraid of it"
