Siv says "I confess, I didn't expect to be back here"

"That is of concern - the thallain and the redcaps."

"I think your folks have the suriviving Redcaps in cells"

"I will question them later, then."

"Oh, were you told of the Centaur?"

"They don't think it's Hamm's centaur." She adds in.

"The one Miss Sylvi brought from the stars."

"She didnt appear made of stars"

"She was far more solid. And I -think- she acknowledged me. More or less."

"I thought she looked confused myself"

"That too. Understandably, I think."

"A chimera?"

"Perhaps..." Siv says unsure "But with talk of new or old kihain being spotted on the golden road of the Yulestar"

Jessica shakes her head, but is uncertain. "If I had to guess, I would say no, not a chimera. But it is a guess. The heat of battle.... I couldn't focus on her."

"No, no. Of course not."

"Speaking of which, your thanes? Really coordinated. Hard to believe they were recently assembled" Siv says to Sparrow "the Fenix folks I expected it of but that's because they've been together for a time"

"Redfang has been working with them, and he's.. well, frankly, he's amazing."

"Yeah, oh sis if you don't know HIS story you should ask a skald"

"I was impressed, Baroness."

"Not only did they do well together, they worked well with us when we arrived."

"I will convey your praise."

"I'll ask, Siv." she nods seriously.

Siv smiles at that, then looks at Sparrow "Sparrow if you don't mind? Could I pester Hope for that Tex mex pasta thing recipe?"

"Sure!"

"It's really good" She tells her sister "honestly if this place wasn't so DRY I might visit it more"

"Forgive her, Lady Sparrow." Jess says dryly.

"Siv is gonna Siv."

"Pity our trods seem... well.. less than useful for easy travel."

"Sorry, Baroness. Itt's got a gorgeous sky"

"It does!"

"Perhaps the Rovers can do something to assist with the trods."

"Perhaps. We have an outpost that they are... leasing?"

"Perhaps a trade or barter, then. It would be in their own interests."

"Perhaps."

"Ah, actually, sis, " Siv says "the Baroness is too polite to say, but she's already set up a good deal with the Rovers and I think clearing the trods here is getting a big priority. Wouldn't be surprised if they weren't already working on opening other trods the balor know nothing about. Hastien's even got a surprise for.." She covers her mouth

"He's working on something" She says primly "Don't want to ruin for anyone"

"Siv is gonna Siv." Jessica murmurs.

A soft laugh.

"Hurmph" Siv says but endures it

"Baroness, will you forgive me if I head home? I'd like to take those of mine who can travel with me; Fenix is a place dedicated to healing. And I admit, I'd like to find out what happened."

"Of course! I did not mean to delay you!"

"You did not." Jessica assures her with honest friendship. "I'm glad we got a chance to meet again, and I hope we can meet in person to update each other another time?"

"Agreed!"

Siv says "For me.. I guess I should report back to Uncle Olgar. This has been nuts...fun, but nuts"

"Is he in the area?"

"No, he's in Rivervale" She says "He got Sylvi that new trod to Dark gate, well, near it"

Jess nods. "Right. GIve my best to everyone when you get back." She offers to clasp forearms.

Sparrow takes Jess's arm.
