And she drops from a crouch to plunk down to sit on the floor - arm out for Grete.

Hope says to Sylvi "Are there any wichtel in Rivervale?"

She grins and sets her elbow firmly.. and proceeds to check Sparrow's strength, curious to see what this Sidhe has in her.

Sylvi smiles as Sparrow easily drops to the floor, then she shakes her head to Hope's question. "I've never met one. Just heard of them."

Sparrow relies on speed and dexterity in a fight - not strength. There's a good chance Greta can win this. But she'll give a fair game, and she won't fake or half-ass it.

"They might come back." She comments, grunting a bit as she pushes her arm an inch further. "The Baron wasn't nice. But there were others, once."

"Well, mmm" Clearly Hope is hoping hte girl won't feel too isolated, but then the boggan smiles as the Liam readies to arm wrestle. then nods at the mention of they might come back

"Other witchels?"

"Yeah! Not lots... but enough. We gotta...." unf! "Keep the mortals from messing up everything when they dig."

And her hand goes down - Sparrow wins! Maybe Grete let her.

"Makes sense. Tha-oh!" Surprise!

"Now we can go for a walk." Grete nods, as though something has been decided. "What did you want to see, Lady?" A hesitation there, unsure what to call her.

"Sparrow. I mean, my full name is Baroness Derynwydd Truthbranch ap Liam, but that is quite a lot so we save it for court."

"Lady Sparrow." She gives a thumbs up.

She smiles. "Now - I have been in the hold a great deal, and this is Sylvi's first visit. So maybe we should find the best path to town? I have been to the cafe."

Sylvi grins. "Yeah, I have no idea what this place is like."

"Oh, I can tell you that. See, there's this cool trail..." And will start to describe the surrounding scrubland to Sylvi eagerly.

Hope chuckles and leads them on as the girl talks

"C'mon, you show us." Encouraging the girl out the door.

She'll accompany eagerly, now that all is settled.

Sylvi follows, bringing up the rear.

Sparrow lets the girl lead the talking.

Sylvi's dressed informally -- jeans, tank-top, light jacket. She does wear her Rivervale sash, but she is conscious of not wanting to look too much like an enforcer, given the local experience with trolls.

Sparrow has embraces texas warmth - the backless top allows her wings free range.

Grete is more familiar with the natural landscape, though as they head into town, she comments conversationally, "That's one of Pop's buildings."

Ah, so much to see, nature, of course abounds.. but there is also the McDonald Observatory, Chateau Wright Winery and Sandwich Bar (with Food truck to adapt to Covid times), the Wild Rose Gallery (With a fantastic Photography display), and odd stores such as Javelinas and Hollyhocks and BeaTea.K!

"Pop - your father?"

She nods. "I think they're in...." Head wrinkles. "Guam? Their cruise ship docked and they found a hotel."

"So they'll be gone for a while."

"Unless of course, the authorities find the body and call them home early..."

"I can't imagine ever wanting to be on one of those mortal cruise ships. They advertise glamour, but deliver dysentery."

Hope lets them talk but says "One of my friends is at BeaTeaK"

"I got suuuuper sea-sick. It was like I couldn't tell up from down."

"Is she one of ours?"

Grete has her nose pressed against the glass outside of BeaTeaK, peering in.

"Oh yes.."

Pocket hunting. "Masks for mortals." Sparrow's has been hand-painted with flowers and spirals.

And they do fish out masks. Hope has extra, and in they go

Grete hones in on a bowl of polished stones and is running them through her fingers. A coo like one might over a kitten.

"Hope? is that you?" A voice says from near hte counter

Sylvi's mask is simple, but complements her skin tone.

The voice has an Afrianner's accent, and the Clurchaun attached to it smiles

Sparrow beams and waves. Her mouth may be hidden, but the smile reads in her emerald eyes. "Hello!"

"Oh yes, it's me. I.. brought guests" Hope says

She waves and nods to the clerk.

"Oh my.." the woman gasps "Hope you didn't.. ah.." Nervously, the Cluachaun bows a bit ot Sparrow, but then sees Grete eying the stones "Oh you're in luck there, I just got a new collection in ..some of those are from Africa, others Australia. I've family in both you know?"

"Hi, I'm Sparrow - that is Grete, and this is my friend Sylvi." She offers a hand.

"Betty.. or BettyKae that know more than one" She is a Clurhcaun so green might be mandatory, but she also seems to wear a lot of purple

"They're pretty." She nods to the Clurichaun. "They look like they have stories."
