A bemused look at the further back-up. "I think so, yeah. I got through to him enough that he's dropped his oaths against the ones he was bullying. And I'm going to have him come by Goldfinch. You're right...he doesn't need to use his gifts to survive, so he needs a focus to direct them at."

"You're a lot nicer than I would be about it" She says then noting the bemused look "What? Ives offered to help. He's really been helping out a lot actually. Guess the lodge takes hosting duties seriously even if I am living on Martha lane right now"

Sylvi tries very hard not to give her a look about Ives' 'helpfulness'.

"I'm being nice about it because it helps more in the long run. At least, it usually does."

It may occur to Sylvi that Gwen is being clueless regarding Ives , instead she focuses on Sylvi's explanation "If you say so I believe it. Baroness Nadeen always said you were most likely to be Chief someday of Rivervale in the future"

Oh, it definitely occurs to Sylvi.

A wry grin. "Nadeen sees things, like, through a leadership filter. But it's nice of her to say."

She says, "Hey, Ives," as they get to the car. "Everything good?"

"Mmm " Gwen ponders the talk of Nadeen's filter, then says "Sidhe are like that as a rule"

"Everything's good," Ives says with a nod "Gwen... uh and Sylvi, you all done up there?"

Gwen nods "Looks like. Sylvi had it handled"

"Yup. At least, it looks that way for now. If you hear of anything about them that you don't like, tell me and let me follow up before you throw fists, okay?" She says it to both of them. "I mean, if it's possible."

Ives looks at Gwen to see if she agrees first

Gwen shrugs "I won't be here much longer so, whatever works"

"oh," Ive says then ahems "Right"

"Right, okay." A pause. "Hey, you guys hungry? We could go grab lunch at that place you like, Gwen?"

"Sure" Gwen says brightening "Going to miss that place so.. I'm down, thanks."

"Me too" Ives says

though honestly, he'd say that whatever the place was given the company

"Cool! I'll meet you there. Gotta grab some gas first." She nods towards her car.

"See you there!" She waves as she heads for her car.

They nod, soon to join her there!

"Order for me, will ya?" she calls over as they drive off.
Of course, once she gets to her car, she'll wait at least until they've had a chance to grab a seat and order before sending Ives a text.
