"I suppose I could try to convince her to try to face them...." A grin. "And sing at them to prove a point."

"SIng?" A brow lift

"Because she won't have lost her voice. Proving that she didn't tell."

"AH, " A nod "Fair point. Look, you clearly care about Lydia, and that's good. BUt... no, nevermind, rude of me to say"

A wry grin. "I never said a name. But anyway...say what you're going to say. I listen to advice. Don't always take it, but I listen to it."

"You guys may want to focus on your kinain a bit more... my own liege isnt' too concerned with them either so it's not a slam, nor meant as such. But it's clear there's a blind spot. I think your chief is already feeling that, but .. you run Goldfinch right?"

"Yeahh...I thought we were offering some pretty solid resources at the studio for fae, kinain, and dreamers...but apparently I need to do more." ((forgot to press send))

"I wouldn't know on the hows myself. We got a kinain maid , she's nice and we treat her well, and that's it. So I guess I'm not THAT helpful. There's a reason I prefer to work with dogs over people"

"Well, it's tricky. It's like...oh, this sounds awful...but the kinain are kind of harder to see, y'know? Like, they're not in the center of fae society. And they know it, so they don't always make a point of claiming a presence with us." She looks guilty about that.

"Can't blame us for being skittish about them. Right of ignorance is important"

she seems sympathetic "So... Was there anything? Or..."

She considers. "I think, if I go to see the families, it might help if you're there as an eye-witness. Or...maybe not. Since you put them in the hospital." A sigh. "No...I guess really I just needed to check in with you about what happened. I'll let you get back to this lot," she indicates the pups.

"mmm" She nods "Okay." A pause "Do you have a dog of your own?"

She shakes her head. "I mean, there are the Lodge dogs, but I couldn't really take care of one right now, y'know? College and stuff."

"Right.. " She nods "No problem. I was just thinking Goldfinch might use one, support animal and so on.. but that probably wouldn't work out. Sides I hear you got a cat. See you around."
