Sylvi ponders the dilemma: talk to the parents first, or talk to the kinain 'gang' members.

And does she do it alone?

After a bit of solitary deliberation, she makes a choice. To the hospital. She'll lose more cred if she rats to parents first...but she will talk to them eventually.

While not as banal as some hospitals, it is going to get a bit 'nippy' there if she doesn't avoid some key parts of the local hospital. Standard RV protocol was to either have a buddy along, or have a back up or a call in. Of course, she's in charge of goldfinch now.

SO her methods may vary

She's fine. She knows she's fine. So...in she goes. At reception, she asks for the room of the one that she's pretty sure is the ringleader.

Joanie, Blaze, Sean J.

And ring leader depends on who you consider the leader leader. Joanie, Sylvi remembers from school. She'd be the power behind the throne, the girl who coos up to the big man and 'suggests' things.

Definitely a possibility, Sylvi considers as she stops in the gift shop, buying three plastic flowers with smiling faces and carrying "Get Well Soon" signs.

The giftshop lady puts on a plastic smile, acts warm, but there's a chill to her. Nothing too serious but Sylvi is glad to make a quick purchase.

She gets out of there quickly, and continues reviewing what she knows about them as she gets the elevator to their floor.

Sean J is the victim of too many Seans (and shawns) around in his own family and at school. Chip on his shoulder about it, but he hides it well. That said, his family probably doesn't know he's being a douche nozzle.

Blaze? Blaze would be the leader in the 'face' of the group at least.... has that 'cool vibe' that plays up well

Fittingly, she never saw any of them as that intimidating. She's a troll. She TOWERS over them. That's just her day to day.

To Lydia, who is their age, they're peers and badasses. And she fell for it.

Blaze is probably the place to start. She heads towards that room.

She knocks on the door.

No one gets in her way as she makes it to his room. When she knows, she hears "is it time to take this cast off?"

She tries to see who Blaze is talking to.

"I mean, come in already.. " apparently he was assuming she was a nurse or doctor when she knocked

When she peeks in, she sees Blaze. Great hair, a kind of shag drip that's over one eye like a cute anime protagonist. Younger her (Geez that makes her sound old) would have found him handsome

"Oh, were you asking me?" she says as she appears, smirking a bit. "I'm not at Rutgers for pre-med, sorry."

"Yeah?" he looks over. It is not one cast, but TWO, an arm and a leg

Then he sees her, and squints. "Do I know you?" his enchantment has worn off

"We've met, but you might not remember. Wow, you got clobbered, huh?" She pulls one of the flowers out of the bag and sets the bag on the chair. A quick little bit of enchantment, then she turns to bring it to his bedside. "Here you go."

He lights up promptly and squirms "Shit not again.. " then he realizes who it is and ..relaxes "Heyy.. Yeah, you were two grades over me right? Sylvi?"

"Ding-ding-ding, you got it right." She tilts her head a bit. "I'm guessing you probably remember what got you here, too."

He says casual like "Oh, yeah, five guys jumped me. I fought hard but hey, numbers"

She rolls her eyes. "Dude. I don't need to wear green and gold to see through that."

"What do YOU care anyway?" Blaze shrugs, then looks curious "Wait, you got healing don't you? Patch me up"

She pats his leg cast. "Well, the reason I care is that if something is victimizing kin-folk," just in case anybody happens to walk by and hear, "...I want to know about it. Maybe do something about it."

"You got me... this bitch from Silverwolf pounded me. Just like, some weird Daireann power trip if you ask me" He says voice low and 'letting her in on it'. "I think we should get her out of this area before she hurts more innocents"

"Hmmm..." A nod as if she's buying it. "Well, I don't have a lot of control over that. She might be staying. So what do you think we should do to keep you safe?"

'Hey , heal me up and I'll spread the word to watch out for the others" He says

"Oh. Okay. So..." she walks around the room idly. "If somebody is causing trouble for kin-folk, we should make sure everybody knows about it. Right?"

"yeah" he nods, then only a moment passes when he realizes just WHO would get involved "I mean, I wouldn't bother the CHIEF with this... but spread word that Gladiwhatzit girl is dangerous and leave it at that right?"

"It's an interesting policy. I mean, if anybody is causing trouble for kin-folk...." She gives him a significant look, hoping he keys into the fact that she's no longer talking about the trouble he's had.

Oh yeah, this is where Joanie would be there to warn him

"Then something should be done to teach them a lesson" he says grinning then he stops "I mean, if any STRANGER causes trouble"

A lazy blink. "I preferred the first version. Anybody."

She folds her arms. She's no Shacklebreaker, but those are strong arms.

"I don't know what you're talking about" Sad lie really "I mean, did someone TELL you some bullshit story? " His eyes search left and right, as if trying to sort things out "I mean, I can't imagine afraid to just 'fess up' if it were the truth"

and he looks a bit smug for one who should be worried about thos arms when two of his limbs are on the mend

then again, he's got someone oathbound

"Nope. Nobody told me any kind of story." She moves to the side of his bed and sits on the edge. "Nobody needed to."

His smug look vanishes
