"What about the nanny?" Jonas says

"Part time" Siv says "I know me mum and da. If we rob them of grandparent time too much they'll riot"

"Would it be terrible if I didn't want a nanny?" She hems a bit. "It feels too much like leaving Baby to be indoctrinated by some noble-appointed stooge." A quick hand up, and small smile, "I know, I'm exaggerating... but there's also a lot to be said for daycare where they can meet different kids from different walks of life and socialize... maybe they can pay for that, and we can pick the location? I'd rather have US be the primary source of caregiving and learning... and between three of us, and grandparents, I think we can manage."

"I'll ask " Siv says "And if we do get a nanny, he or she needs to be a commoner and meet our approval"

"I like that" Jonas says "I agree we don't want our child indocrinated"

"I'd like our home to be just us, without another caregiver taking precedence, even part time. A sitter on call, maybe? Date night is important... aren't there a couple other little ones around Rivervale? Theon, and CJ? Maybe we can do some sort of sitting pool with them."

"Well we can't give up the space to have a live in" A firm nod from Jonas "I don't dislike the nanny idea but that is out. On call. TYhat's good"

"Sitting pool is possible but we'd have our turn" Siv says

Piper leans over and impulsively kisses first Jonas, then Siv.

"I know I'm not always... reasonable. Thank you for listening to me though."

And it's return both times

"You're stubborn and we love you" JOnas says "Now eat your egg rolls before they get cold"

"Siv, if you want to take your bonus... like you said, you earned it. And I know you have to keep secrets in your line of work...." She says, even as she dishes out noodles and apps to three plates.

"I know you'd never keep a secret that hurt us."

Did they remember the spicy mustard?!

They even put in extra on the side

"I don't like the precedent though" Siv frowns

Jonas says "Siv. We trust you. And..well, you're a spy. There's lots of stuff you can't tell us about. We get it"

"I'm okay with leaving this up to you. The bonus would be a nice cushion. I mean, if you wanted to put it in general family funds, or even part of it. It's YOUR bonus. If you wanted to buy a suit of armor or a trip to Greece or a fancy new TeeVee, then - like I said." A grin.

"Oh that would be responsible mothering of me. A fancy new TV and a dozen slinky dresses" Wry

"Just because you're a mom doesn't mean giving up who ELSE you are. THAT is the takeaway I'll take from this... boon... bonus... thingy. It will give us freedom to worry less and enjoy more."

CRUNCH. Oh, sweet fried goodness.

It is so very good

"Well, " Siv ponders "mmm , maybe. But I'm not the most commited troll and sometimes that does not sit well with me. Fine. I'll take the money but I may haggle abit for the other things as part of it. If I sign I want your worries and wishes respected"

Siv gets a (playful) pinch!

"You're PLENTY committed!"

"Yipe" she says "Point is, I want to haggle and make this count"

A smile to Siv. "Mother knows best."

"Mmm two moms here" Siv smirks "You're just the one doing the heavy lifting"

She flexes an arm. "Goat STRONK."

"Goat adorable" Jonas says finally eating some of his food too "Okay. This was very.. surprising, but I think we all have a plan we can agree on"

"Wait... if they're paying medical, you can do a private clinic" Siv beams

"Oooh." She thinks back, scrolling mentally up to go over the options as she munches her tofu and noodles.

"I liked the idea of the private clinic, but Dr. Parks being a fresh grad might mean that she doesn't have much experience with multiples." A hand on her stomach which rounds softly - or maybe that's the meal she just ate?

"So, I'd say Dr. Katzenhoffer if we can get in, otherwise.. I kinda like the Kinain, Was it Dr. Andi? What do you two think?"

"Dr. Andi Kronenburg" Jonas says "And don't forget, we have Clem offering to help"

She looks to Siv, "Right, so I think we have our granola crunch covered." A grin.

"Ha" Siv chuckles "So Katzzenhoffer for prime choice mortal friend of Aunt Kerri... Dr. Kronenberg.. nocker kinian... will do C sections... possibly with lasers as a fall back." She make sure she got that right

A grin. "Who doesn't like lasers?"

"You may feel different if they point them at you" Siv smirks

"I am more eager to see a sonogram or the like" Jonas says

"It's the closest I get to a proper rave these days." She jokes with a grin.

"Awww" Siv says "Hey, why not? got to be a rave somewhere. We don't drink and it should be fine right?"

Siiiiiigh. "That's like recommending that Jonas go to Karaoke sober. It's not the saaaame." A soft smile though. "Worth the wait, though."

Jonas sighs "my Bryan Adams affection revealed to the world"

Siv chuckles at both of them "You two are impossible"

"We are improbable, but entirely possible!"

SIv considers "Hence the old Fiona saying 'The Impossible takes sometime, the improbable we shag more often?'" Winsome and she bites her own meal

A laugh! "I'll remind you of that tonight." She pauses. "I was thinking... I'm mostly doing gigs when I can get them on the weekends. Maybe I can look for a part time job, something easy, for a while? I feel silly sitting around during the week when I'm not tutoring, with you two both working so hard."

Especially Jonas, though she doesn't single him out- he HAS been trying to take more personal time after all.

And the money he makes puts the family first
