When Piper asked for advice on doctors, medical practitioners, Midwives and so on... well, word got to Kerri

a whole list was sent from her and Anne Marie

with details on whether they were 'in the know' (Ie Kinian or kithain) or just rather non banal sons of adam daughters of eve

"Piper, ye have to pick one" Siv says

"Don't rush her," Jonas observes

"It's been a bit," Siv counters

She turns the page, and frowns. A mutter, "It would be easier to have fewer choices..."

"There's ten. Want me to get rid of some for you?" Siv offers

She gives Siv a small smile. "Let's focus on the mortals." She suggests. "I have the magical end of things covered with Kerri, and can always consult Chieftain Clementine if needs be. It feels like maybe they'd know better the scientific angle, as they went through med school and all without the dual distractions of a fae nature to also contend with."

"Alright..." She says Let's see, we got Dr. Doug Lansterman. Friend of Dr. Lee. You okay with a man getting up all in your goodies and not in a fun way?"

She also says "Oh, there's also ...Dr. Linda Kaztenhoffer? Okay... does the name rule her out? A mortal on good terms with Aunt Kerri, but still"

She considers. "I think I prefer a woman, they just have a more intimate knowledge of a woman's parts." A glance over at Jonas, and she adds, "Some men excepting, that is..."

Jonas looks up from his remote work at the desk "Your tender care of my masculine fragility is duly noted, and accepted gratefully" Then goes back to typing.

Siv smirks "I rather take some pride in tutoring lessons to him... yer welcome" A wink, then a nod "Okay , so taking some of the male doctors off, or at the least shoving them to the bottom of the list... says here Katzenhoffer , she's good, easy going, and listens. However she's in high demand and may have a big work load. So that's a gamble there. Now here we have Dr. Sue Parks? Now she's in a private clinic that just opened. Down side? She's really green, got out of her residency not too long ago."

"Private clinic?" A small frown. "Sounds expensive."

"We can make it work" She says

Piper sets the paper down. "Can we? I mean, I know we WILL make things work, but adding a pricy private practice on top of things won't HELP."

She considers, "Maybe I should look at the kin doctors, they might be more willing to cut us some slack on the costs."

"We do have that extra five hundred. It appears to be solid." Jonas peeks out from his desk again. He has a room being used as an office but he's staying out here on a silly small desk so he ccan be part of the conversation . It's sweet of him "That means we've got a head start on this"

"I like the private clinic because unless run by an autumn person, there's less chance of banality as a rule" Siv points out

Seems Siv is willing to bend on SOME protective aspects

but still has them

"Five hundred dollars is one of these tests they want to run. We've got 9 months of this to look forward at. And I'm still not comfortable about that random money. I bet it's some sort of scam that will come bite us on the ass. There's no such thing as a free lunch.... by the way, what's for lunch?"

"Don't be mad, but I ordered Thai" Siv says "I know deliveries cost more but since we were working on this I thought it would be worth it to save time. Got a family special so it's a lot of bang for our buck and I know what you both like"

A sigh, but then hopefully, "eggrolls?"

"Got em" A beaming smile

"Ahem. Back to the doctor list?" Jonas reminds as he types

Piper sticks her tongue out at Jonas, teasingly. "It's not my fault your spawn is hungry." Patting her stomach.

"Hungry part is definitely from his side of the family" Siv agrees

Jonas looks bemused but also brows

"Tell me about the kinain or kithain options?"

She says, just to make the Storyteller do more work.

"Fine. Let's see. Dr. Holly Holt is a boggan Kinain, does work in a hospital..." She admits "Says here she can be a bit pushy and stern but she really cares"

Piper looks a bit unsure about THAT. The little Satyr doesn't much like being bossed around.

Siv sees the look, "Does our doctor need to be more Sub than Dom? " Wryly

"Sweet Jeebus, Siv" Jonas can be heard groaning

Siv moves on "Pamela Ransom, ah, another Private Clinic lady... hey, troll blooded.. there's a winner. Says she is ... believes in holistic , spiritual embrace of the power of womanhood and our ties to creation."

"Sounds a bit granola crunchy" Jonas comments "WHo suggested her?"

"Olgar" Siv replies

"Of..course he did" Jonas says

"Mm. Anyone else?"

"I'm a little granola, but I want a doc that will give me an epidural if I want it and not tell me to embrace the oneness of my being or something." She grins.

Siv smirks at her "Only a little? Last Kinain on the list who is a woman is Dr. Andi Kronenburg... Nocker Kinian. BIG believer in the best tools for the job. Not afraid of C sections, epidurals, or suggesting you squeeze the father's hand off during labor." She blinks

Jonas peeks out "A.. nocker KINIAN though right? Not a full nocker?"

"Kinain" Siv confirms

Piper considers. "What are your thoughts?"

"I think Dr. Holt bossing you around sounds more soothing to me" Siv says "But... it's your choice, Piper. "

At that moment there's a knock at the door

Piper glances up, then glances down to make sure she has pants on. Oh good, she does! "Is that the delivery?"

"Should be" Siv grins "You want to get it? "

She pops out of her chair and heads to open the door, digging into her pocket to check for cash for a tip.
