"the clock?" her eyes widen "You.. you didn't buy it did you?"

"I have. A downpayment, and I will pick it up tomorrow."

A brow.

"It was the first thing i saw in this town"

"When was this?"

"Where was this?" Frank adds.

She glares at them both "I got amnesia, Okay? It was in the alley below....I stole a dolly, nearly broke my back, and got it to a place that would buy it. I don't remember ANYTHING before that. Except my name is. .Bunni think. And that someone.." her voice cracks "And someone loves me very much"

Brekke considers this a long moment, then nods. "You are remembering correctly."

"Oh now you know me? You think I haven't heard THAT? the pimp near the rail yard SWORe I used to be his FAVORITE"

Brekke might understandibly bristle at the comparison, but it was not a DIRECT insult to her honor

Her jaw tightens, but again, that quiet, even tone. "I addressed you by name immediately after you tried to mace me."

SHe starts to say something then thinks about it, and says "oh"

Somewhat gratified by her surrender on this point, Brekke looks to Frank again.

He looks tired, and exhales softly.

Back to Bunni. "We have no intent of having you move, nor punishing you, nor harming you. But we must know more about the artwork. Did you have it in your possession prior to your lost memories?"

"No," she says seemingly defeated "it shows up every few mornings, under the blanket"

"It...it shows up?"

"Now and then.." She reaches in the tent and pulls for the blanket... to her it looks like a blanket, but to Brekke and Frank, it is a cloak worthy of a sidhe lord

Brekke's eyes widen. Does the cloak look familiar?

"Mm." Frank lifts an eyebrow, wondering the same thing.

It is of FIona colors

"I see." A slow exhale. She looks to Frank. "The art is still a problem, if available to the public."

"Bunni, would you be willing to sell the art you find exclusively to us?"

"i hate selling it" she says "I only go to that guy becaus he's nice about it'

"I don't want to sell it at all" She admits

"Bunni, would you allow us to ... help you so you don't have to sell it on the agreement that you -won't- sell it except to us?"

A brow then "who was I before?"

She says "I really can't remember"

Brekke nods at Frank. The girl is telling the truth there

Frank considers the question. "I am not 100% sure, Bunni. And the answer may be complicated. Very complicated. But I would be very happy to help you find answers."

"FIne. If I get something I'll let you have first dibs .. long as you pay me fair for it and maybe I get to see it?"

"Sometimes, the things I see, they remind me of someone"

Frank nods. "I think that would be ok."

"THanks" She says then looks sheepish "Sorry about the mace "

Brekke says something about understanding the need to defend oneself, and accepts the apology with dignity.

Her brow remains furrowed, though. "I understand you do not remember your past...but how much time do you remember? How far back do your memories go? Months? Years?"

"It's been.. three? Four weeks?" She says "I'm not an idiot. I can read and do math, I know who the president is, that kind of thing"

"I did not mean to suggest you are in any way impaired." Her expression remains thoughtful.

"Bunni." gently "Where and how did you find that blanket?"

"It was on my shoulders, like it was keeping me warm" She says "Crazy huh? In the summer? '

"Yes." he nods "And the clock was the first thing you found. What was next?"

"You mean what was under the blanket first ? there was a broach, with the face of this older lady but she had pointed ears. Weird, I know. I thoguht about pawning it right? But I got mugged. Thats how I learned not to flash jewely around. A shame really"

"Do you know who mugged you? Or where? Are you hurt?"

"Just got told to hand it over, then it was taken. I got shoved.. but the bruise is long gone. I'm good"

'it was at .." She names the corner " I wouldn't go that area if I were you. I don't remember who it was. I was too busy being scared to get a look at their face"

Brekke makes a mental note to visit that spot.

Frank nods. "What came next? Under the blanket?"

"I think it was a painting... or was it a carving? I know what came between them. It was this really lovely post card. 'Earth Runes: Place of Enchantment' .. reallly looked nice"

"Did you sell that to the man at the shop as well?" no judgement.

Brekke's eyes widen at the mention of the postcard.
