(Scene picked up from RV)

Bunni looks at them with confusion and fear, i mean, even to mortal eyes the couple looks huge

Brekke looks back to her and says, "You are an artist, yes?"

"No" She shakes her head

A curious look. "You...sold art to a store recently."

"We are art collectors. Patrons. We liked the work we saw. We would like to see more." the giant of a man explains very gently.

"That's just stuff I found" A frown

Brekke's brow knits, and she kenns Bunni.

"We would be willing to give you a finders fee if you will share information with us." Frank offers to buy Brekke time.

Bunni seems to be completely human. Though the mannerisms are similar to Nabuni. That frusrated pout

"why are you two doing this? " She says "I don't.. I Didn't DO anything "

"We are not accusing you, and do not intend you harm," Brekke says quietly and firmly.

"THen why are you.. you want art? Buy art. You look rich enough"

Brekke crouches down to be less intimidating. "We wish to know where you found that art."

"I don't know" A lie

A brow at the lie. "Please try harder to remember." It's more of a direction than a request.

"I'm not going to jail OR a psychoward"

"No, you are not." Frank agrees.

THe way she says that, makes Frank realize she sees it as a real concern.

She nods agreement with Frank.

And Brekke notes something inside the tent with a bit of glamour

She tilts her head slightly. "If you have more artwork with you now...we would like to see it. And to learn where you got it from."

"I don't " THAT is true

"Hm." A pause, then she returns to the original question: "Where did you obtain the artwork you sold?"

"I'm not telling" she says crossing her arms

(One may roll Charisma plus Persausion if they wish)

(One might not very strong stats in that combo, but...)

"Now, leave me ALONE. " She almost yells it. Ridicilous, of course, the girl is no threat, but she says it the passion of one who has little to lose

Brekke sighs and stands again, folding her arms as she looms over the girl. "No."

And she breaks down into tears

Brekke looks to Frank.

Frank kneels and unslings the duffle bag he carries, removing bottles of water, snacks, and plastic bags of hygine materials.

Great ugly tears on that fair face, Nab often appeared wwith alternating hair styles, but Bunni is a redhead of fair complexion and they splotch

He passes them to Brekke; he's stayed back to avoid intimidating or disturbing more than he will simply by being on the rooftop.

Brekke shakes her head, her arms folded, then nods Frank towards Nabuni. This is Liam territory, for now.

Frank scoots slowly forward, holding out the supplies, and sets them down in front of her; not too close, not too far.

He scoots back just as slowly and gently "I work with the unhoused." he explains "There's some water and snacks and supplies. Some information in the bag, too, if you want to use it."

She sniffles "Go to hell. YOu're just two big bullies acting like I'm some sort of charity case and art trove. "

Brekke's tone is very even as she says slowly, "We are trying to treat you as an adult who has information we need, and with whom we would like to deal fairly. You, on the other hand, have attacked, evaded, lied, wept, and challenged our honor."

"I can't help weeping, I'm upset. What you never cried?"

"And you don't neeeeeed my information, you want it. You're fine"

"Incorrect. We need it."

"What, if you don't learn where i found the art, you'll die? '

"Perhaps not die. But it is important that we know more about it. We're not here to roust you or hassle you. We've given you gifts, a little belatedly, true. I can promise you I will do all I can to protect you and help you. And we would like to know more about the art you sold. Did you bring in the grandfather clock, too?"
