Frank drives them to the clinic. "Want me to take him in?"

"Don't matter to me" the young man says "long as he doesn't like.. DIE. Waste of my time if he does"

Despite his hard words, he looks over at the bleary man with a hint of concern

"Come with me, then." Frank gets out and gets the man out, one arm over Frank's shoulder so he can carry-walk him in. "Get the other side."

The man mutters "Thanks.." but is still a mess

Dirk gets to the other side

Together they walk him in and get him settled.

The Clinic is busy, Frank can seating room is at a premium. They do find a spot to set him down, but may have to stand themselves

Well, they did. Dirk glowers at one guy hogging two seats and the man swallows and moves

Frank seats the guy, motions for Dirk to stay with him, and goes to check him in.

The lady behind the counter looks tired "Fill out this form please." She hands him a clip board, a paper on it, a pen

"Anything else?" He asks politely.

"Just put down the symptoms and so on... we'll prioritize. "

A nurse walks into get the next patient. Frank can talk to her if he prefers

Frank nods and starts to fill it out back in the seating area. No need to bother the overworked nurses.

Dirk looks impatient, and checks the guy's temp "He's not fucking cooling down enough"

Frank looks the guy over.

The guy is breathing irregularly now

Frank heads for the first available medical person.

"I have a heat stoke victim going into respiratory distress and needs help stat." He says firmly.

The nurse looks over "Oh snot. " Then races towaards him "Cynthia, see if Doctor Ulmun is ifnished, and I need oxygen"

A blur of activity, the man is taken back to the halls behind

"Let's go." Frank murmurs to Dirk, and leads him out.

Dirk follows "Okay... man, the guy had to have an ATTACK for them to notice him" A snort "People suck"

"They're busy in there, Dirk, and everyone who comes in believes they have the most important concern."

"Are you coming back to the Lodge or do you have patrol to finish?"

"But WE actually did"

A huff "Which one are you doing? I can go with you"

"I'm heading back to the Lodge. I have a report."

"I'll go with you then" He says "My patrol's over, spent too much time dragging that guy"

Frank nods and together they drive back to the Lodge.
