She nods to Dirk, then looks to Frank for his thoughts.

Frank glances at Dirk, then to Brekke.

"Let's head back."

She looks to the door where Bunni is settling in, then nods.

They make their way back down to street level and the waiting canine contingent.

Signe and Oak are happy to see them

Dirk has dropped down with a thud then looks about

After getting a bit of distance from the building, Brekke says, "I am not sure what this suggests," glancing back at the building. "How did she become this way? And...why now?"

"And who will you tell?" Frank says quietly.

A brow. "Well, Hearth and Mountain, of course, and..." a pause. "Ah. I see. Yes."

"Oh... you're worried bout the count" Dirk says

"Oh, or do you mean the Thomases?"

"Mostly the Thomases. Should they know, if there is no clear reason for them to hope he will return?"

"EarthRunes as well." A sigh. "I would prefer to wait until we know more for certain."

"The Thomases. All of EarthRunes, yes." he frowns "The FarmHold."

"Well, Nab ain't a Thomas, she dated one so it even honorable seelie saps shoudn't consider it dishonorable not to tell stuff until they're more sure. Though if they learn after they'll probably take it wrong. They tend to do that no matter what you do though so..." Dirk shrugs

"I think I agree, as to waiting." Frank rumbles "Unless there's an issue of security to be concerned about."

"Mm." A nod.

"The Mountain, then. We need him to employ his skills to learn more."

"Shouldn't we check with the Storm too?" Dirk isn't as good at sly smirks as his Adoptive brother but there you go

A brow. "I believe the Storm is informed already," she says with an undertone of amusement.

"Lut ain't here" A grin

"Vali made Lut the acting Storm while you were away. With the discovery of the dross Nabuni is finding or being gifted, there were security concerns."

"Hm. Where is Olgar?"

"Still in Willows. He had to break stop stuff to help people then vanish again" Dirk seems rather in the loop on lodge matters

"'Break stop stuff'?" Brekke echoes. "Clarify, please."

"Uh sorry... he had to stop and take a break to help Dagmar, so that stopped a project, then he had to go back and do stuff in Willows while Dagmar was away"

"Mm." A nod. "Then...Lut was the right choice. I will debrief with him."

Another glance back towards the building they left a few blocks back, then a look to Frank. "What do you think it means?"

Dirk mmmphs, trying for troll but botching it. It comes out like ("Redcap Make Thunder")

A brow at Dirk, but no further comment on his observation.

Frank shakes his head. "I can't begin to say. She appeared to be like any Daughter of Eve; I saw nothing chimerical about her at all."

"It's freaking weird. There weren't no half way about her. She was all chimera"

"Now she's all mortal? " Dirk's brow scrunches

"It is strange," Brekke agrees with understatement. "The cloak is Adam's, I am certain of it. The artwork...also his?"

"Traditional wisdom says what happened to the Thomases, including Adam, and what seems to have happened to Nabuni, is impossible. Albeit, that challenges the Dreaming itself."

"He was not an artist that I'm aware of. But the cloak does seem to reveal items and pieces from the people and places he knew. I would be willing to wager that the broach she described was the eldest of his mentors at EarthRunes. The Lodge, Siv, the postcard... but where does the clock fit in?"

"Dirk, do you think you can find the ones who mugged her, get the broach back?"

"The clock..." She frowns, trying to recall any detail about a clock related to Adam.

"Sure" He says "I know the streets pretty well"

"I DO get to mug them back right? " He adds

"Within reason, Peacekeeper."

"Oh sure, I reasonably hurt people all day" He nods "Mountain Vali told me that's why philosphy was worthy of study, pick the one for you and you can excuse a lot of stuff"

A thought strikes him and Frank stops dead.

"That is not what...." A sigh. "Bunni did not have substantial injuries. Make an equal reply."

Then she also stops and looks at Frank.

He looks grave.

And meets her eyes. "The Guidestones in Willows. The destructions and disturbence on the Trods and in the Dreaming."

She frowns. "You think this is connected?"

"I think it is possible."
