The boggan hands it over without complaint, and leaves with his new dice smiling.

"Dude."

"Those might end up being a hot seller, Dagmar. Symon was right, D&D is really caught on with some" Tove looks at her proudly "I think yo9u could have charged more. How many dice sets include one with nordic runes?"

Nadeen beams at Dagmar "See how clever you are"

She rubs the back of her neck and shrugs.

"Fifteen seems fair, though. He's a kid my age."

"Fair enough" She chimes "Oh.. weirdly I've already sold the baby rattles we made. "

Symon grunts from the back of the booth - not really audible, but the faint scrape of wood is as he struggles to move the stand up front.

"Hey!"

She goes to help the sluagh.

“You should have charged at least $50 - hand carved and I bet you got some good vibes in there to roll high.” He whispers. A shroud lays over the stand - no, it’s just a hoodie. ‘Can you set this in the front corner where he door shadows fall? If that’s ok with your mom.”

"Tove?" Checking.

"I think 20 would be better... and yes, let's set it up" She says "For now"

"Well, okay, maybe start and twenty and haggle."

“Start at 30 and haggle DOWN to 20.” He retorts. Symon fusses to arrange it just SO, then, “Now step around the corner there like you’re coming from that way...”

"Okay?" She heads out to see.

He uncovers the artwork just before she arrives, and as she turns, it greets her face to face! Well, a little lower, but on MOST people it may be eye level. Hanging on the hook is a large, cleaned and dried GOAT SKULL. Horns that a satyr might envy curl off to each side, and it is painted a deathly grey pallor, with black stained horns. And on the skull itself, a riot of colors - it’s painted like a goth-inspired dia de los muertos sugar skull!

"Oh.. oh, hey, that's actually pretty cool!"

“Goats scream like a man being murdered. I tried to get a sound chip embedded, but it echoed weird...”

“If I could make it work, imagine the looks on the trick or treaters! Or Mormons, or Girl Scouts....”

"DO I need tocall an excorcist?"

Tove says alarmed

"I mean, it's kind of goth? Gerd would like it, for sure."

“Chieftain Clem says that it died of natural causes.” He sounds disappointed, but adds, “But we don’t need to disclose that.”

"It's nto my style, but it's pretty. Like a sugar skull."

“what style skull should I get you? A boar-Thor?” He ponders.

“The tusks could have lightning bolts.”

"Oh... hunh, that could be cool, too."

"I mean, you ever see their teeth?"

“Yeah! Well, only on TV and on this one documentary about pigs who ate murder victims.”

Tove's business begins to die at this conversation

"Oh, right..."

She scoots Sy towards a more discreet spot.

She mouths "thank you'

He grumbles, but goes along. “See, they found the dental records because the TEETH weren’t digested...”

"So, like, it didn't pay off in the end."

“I bet a lot of folk are one-stage-removed cannibals and that probably gave them nightmares.” A toothless grin.

“So, it paid off in my book.”

"Oh, gross. Hey, did you see the movie with the whales and the cannibalism?"

“No! Tell me about it?”

He glances back over to see if anyone s checking out the skull.

Nadeen is. She seems to be appraising it for authentic torture use

Dagmar tells about the movie - whales, shipwrecks, Chris Hemsworth, murder & cannibalism...

He stifles a snicker, wondering if she might buy it not knowing the maker and then be out her cash. No refunds.

Apparently, there's a book that Dag herself hasn't read...

“Which super hero is that Chris?” He asks dryly.

"Thor. Oh, and Spider-Man is in it too, but not as Spider-Man..."

“I can’t keep track. Now if you show me a 1970’s Thor I could probably tell you the author... Of COURSE It’s Thor. Hey, Cannibal whale hunter Thor... hmmm.”

"It'd be kind of hilarious if they were superheroes in that situation."
