Symon frowns. "Don't you have a..." A small glance towards the adults. "...thing to do?" To Dirk. "Instead of eating my cash cow."

"Shit.." And dirk races off

And Nadeen says "Sorry, just having fun"

A little frown.

"Oh don't look at me that way, Dagmar" She winces "It makes me feel guilty and you look like the Chieftain when someone acts dishonorable"

"Just... listen, just want everybody to be having a nice time."

"I know.. I'm sorry Symon" She looks like she's eating dirt

A curt nod.

"I hope you two were having fun" Nadeen dares

"Just... I dunno, let's go look around."

And they start to look about. There's so much to do, so much to see. So much to buy!

Symon accepts the apology graciously - for him, which means with only the smallest smirk. But after that, he excuses himself. "I've got some shopping to do. Why give handmade presents for yule when I can sell my shit for more, and buy stuff for less?" He reasons.

"I like making stuff." Dagmar offers. "Hope that's okay?"

"You're good at it" Nadeen says

He grins. "Your family is sentimental so they'll hold onto that stuff like a drawing on the fridge. But anything I get Dirk is getting smashed or eaten, so I might as well just make it big rather than effort."

"Well, that makes sense, too."

Nadeen says "Dirk is coming along. he's a good agent of destruction"

"Mm." Frown.

"Isn't that what redcaps DO?" She says "I mean, they want to even"

"I suppose."

And they hear a voice "Damn, Kerri's thighs are delicious!"

Brow. She looks.

There's a Nocker Grump chomping down on a huge drumstick

"Hey, where'd you get that?"

"At Kerri's Thighs!" The Nocker says. he's a rotund Nocker, but even he seems to have bitten off more than he can chew

And her jerks a thumb in a direction

Furrow.

Nadeen blinks "Ever since Tucker joined up helping at the horse ranch, I thought Emu was off the menu"

Dagmar kknows Kerri is NOT in that direction!

"Kerri isn't selling... she's got baked goods in, but that's not..."

"Someone is messing with Kerri?" Nadeen's eyes narrow "No. If I am terrified of that woman, everyone will be"

"Well, sounds like somebody is defaming her."

"So our next step?"

"Find the seller. Ask him real nice what he thinks he's up to."

"Let's start looking" She agrees "We have a general direction" And she takes Dagma'rs hand and goes in that direction

Before they find this vendor, what they do see is.. Sylvi, with Colton.. hair a bit mussed but they'resmiling at least until Nadeen says "Sylvi? Someone is selling your mother's thighs"

Sylvi freezes half-way to adorning Colton's hair with a woven ribbon decoration. "They're what now?" A very odd neutral tone....possibly the preface to an explosion.

"Looked like giant turkey legs. Like, ostrich-sized."

Colton blinks "Ah.."

"But...mom made pies...not turkey legs...." Baffled.

"And yet .. SOMEONE is selling Kerri's Thighs" Nadeen says "The plot thickens eh?"

"Wait...where...." Oh, there's the first hint of the ferocious frown.

"Show me."

"we're looking."

Eyes narrowing, Sylvi joins the hunt, one hand instinctively tightening on her spear, the other dragging Colton along.

Colton sometimes forgets how strong SYLVI can be too. And is dragged "I hope it's a misunderstanding" He blinks and sees a redcap eating a huge chunk of bbq drumstick

Nadeen says "Pardon, what's that your eating? "

The Redcap snorts "Kerri's Thigh...damn not bad."

Sylvi steps up to the 'Cap. "Where?" she demands. "Who's selling them, and where?"

"Hey, back off" he glares. But Sylvi's Troll boon is in full fuction and browbeating fails so instead he says "Stall's ten meters that way near a big ole pine tree. Some guy. Get your own"
