“exactly!” He grins gummily at her. They understand each other.

"It's supposed to be a real story, like, it totally actually happened back in victorian times."

“Maybe I could do a Victorian death diorama for extra credit with cannibal whale hunter Thor.”

She snorts.

“So what’s this quest we’re supposed to do?” He remembers belatedly.

Dirk is now eying the skull talking to nadeen. Symon might hear him saying "Yeah, I could take it in a fight. Want me to prove it?"

"Vali is being secretive. You know how he is."

“Yeaahhh.... are you sure this isn’t a trick to learn some school BS? I heard he’s on field trip duty for dropouts.” An amused snort. “Not that I mind learning something cool, but it’s the principle of being tricked into it.”

"No, I'm pretty sure I heard it say something anti Redcap" Nadeen says

"Like... I mean, still a quest?"

Symon’s eyes narrow. To Dagmar, “if there’s a brawl or broken items in Tove’s shop, isn’t she gonna suffer for it too?” Flicking a glance over at Nadeen and Dirk.

"Nadeen, stop provoking Dirk into breaking Symon's stuff"

"Hey." Frown.

"Yes, Tove. " Nadeen says

“Next time I’l get enough stuff in time for pennons. And set up my own booth, and if someone causes trouble, just call the guards.” His expression cloudy. “Or just set a poison trap. 3d6 damage.”

Dirk snorts "Hmmph I would be mad, but I break Symon's stuff all the time.. okay not all the time.. last time he put in allergins... so thta got itchy but ... point is don't need to TRICK me to breaking stuff"

Nadeen waggles fingers over at Dagmar and Symon, then gives a hapless shrug
