"Let us know what excuse you two need and we'll help" Her mom offers. "She's welcome here anytime"

Breakfast is delicious, of course.

Dag collects dishes to wash.

And soon, she's done. And.. the day is hers!

"Go Text Nadeen" Her mom waves her off now that the dishes are done. "You and she have both been patient"

"Sure, sure..." She heads out to the back porch, taking along an orange for Snow.

Snow greets her "Hello friend, I could not help but notice you seem to be carrying fruit. Is it heavy?" BIG eyes "Do you need help lifting it?"

It's uncanny some days

"So very heavy." Somber.

She offers it out to the monkey.

"Snow can help!" She beams and takes it from her "Oh there, you are free of the heavy heavy orange" And she begins to dig in "I have a way of making it lighter, oh kind friend Dagmar!"

"well then, you should help!"

"I ..." Much "Will" Snow assures as she eats savoring the fruit.

"Kind of you, Snow."

Dagmar sits on the porch swing, enjoying the breeze and the trees and the quiet.

And soon enough, Nadeen shows up, fully armed and armored, rare for her! oh the armor is not too heavy, the chain shirt glistens like steel icicles upon her chest. The skirt under it shows only a bit of leg, and in the voile it is almost leatherlike in appearance. A sword is scabarded at her side.

"You look like a warrior princess." Appreciative gaze.

A smile, a cool breeze on a hot day sort of smile, refreshing "Knowing how you feel about Xena, that's a great compliment" She moves closer "Looking good yourself."

"Thank you," Snow says "the secret is eating fruit. It keeps your fur healthy"

Nadeen sighs at the monkey

Snerk.

Dag pats the other side of the swing - there's room!

And Nadeen sits down next to her and then gives Dagmar a peck on the cheek "I have heard you were quite the force in the rescue"

"I did okay. Chief's the one who tackled the big bad."

"Such a battle hog, our Chief" A tisk "Never the less, I have asked others. Zane tells me that you protected Piper, that you were from what he gathered later talking to others 'more than okay'"

"Well, Piper had the dangerous job - she was luring the jagoffs in."

"He mentioned" She nods "Brave of her. you know i don't know Piper that well, but... she seems okay?" Questioning, not wanting to OFFICIALLY like her until Dagmar is good with it

"Yeah, she seems okay."

A nod then, and the sidhe notes it's okay to get to know pIper without bringing up old Adam wounds.

"Now, ask me how it went with the Rover" She coaxes

"Yes! Tell me everything! Sword!"

"You mean me?" Connor calls over as he trots up the pathway.

Stopping before he reaches the porch he bows to the two! First to Nadeen, then as almost an afterthought, to Dagmar as well.

"Hey Connor!"

"Not quite, Connor" Nadeen says with a smile "Oh, congratulations on the squring"

"We're going to be learning how to ride." She nods. "He's already working real well with the horses." Proud.

"I think I was always a Squire, I just had to remind my Knight so she knew as well." He beams at them. "Oh, you're SHINY today. I mean, you're always shiny, but your armor is real pretty." He grins over to Nadeen. As he's gotten to know her a bit better, he has less of a fawning attitude, but still is prone to admiration.

"Why thank you, Squire," Nadeen doesn't seem to mind the admiration at all, not from a sweet boy.

"Were you anticipating a patrol?"

He sniffs the air. "I was checking to make sure you are eating properly. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!"

"Not really, I just wanted to show off," Nadeen says , "The battle in the dreaming was hectic, but hard to remember. I do know I took this blade off an enemy" She pats her sword

"It is. And there might be bacon left, if you ask Tove nicely."

"Can I see?"

Indeed. There's a smell of bacon and sausage

"I will explore this quest!" He heads inside to find out if any dishes need cleaning of leftover bacon... and will help with the tidying in return.
