"Eggs and cheese are on my list.... ooh, is that spinach and red pepper?" She does have paper plates and soon they are all spread out for a floor picnic.

"Now this was for Alyce but I'll bring more later so no worries" Gerd says "For now, yeah, everyone feast."

"Do you live in the apartments too?" Piper asks, then frowns a little. "No, no way we'd have missed an unpopped changeling for weeks...."

"I mean, I just moved in, but the Super and half the people here would have had a clue."

Alyce says "Two moms? Huh..wow. I actually had to visualize that. I need to re access my societal expectations" then a look at Dagmar "Okay, being from MAINE gets me 'dude' not wings?"

Piper is admiring the wings. "If I hadn't just met a bombshell with wings yesterday I might be more surprised... not that yours aren't incredible too...."

Piper sobers and leans in. "If we can help, we can. And yeah, you're welcome to shower, and I have some sundresses that might fit you and are open in the back. They might be a bit short, but you're thin..."

"My grams set my dad up... got him arrested so she could get me 'help'" A frown "She only needed him out of the way for a bit she thought." A scowl "Bitch does not know what 'I'm an adult now' means" Paniced look "He's got to be found innocent by now. Her story is full of holes"

"Shit, what? Yeah, we gotta help your dad. Fuck that old lady."

"I'm gonna take you up on that sundress offer, Piper. I think.. I think I'm going to shower now in fact. I need to clear my head and I havne't toucheed HOT water in.. well, over a month. I'm probably ruining the smell of the food for the rest of you" She says "Which ways to your shower?"

"Well, there are two doors - the one you came in, and the bathroom. If you 're in a closet, you won't reach Narnia from here... at least, not from this unit." She grins, pointing to the bathroom door. "Feel free to use any of the toiletries in there."

A grin, "Thanks" And she moves off to the bathroom, then curses "oh for fuck's sake you thinks should have hinges" She squeezes in finallyw ith her wings

Gerd waiots till the door is closed "Well. I know this sounds terrible, but I'm relieved. I was worried she was like a serial killer exiled from other lands... her dad? We can help him. Heck, Anne Marie will know how to help if no one else does"

"Oh yeah. I mean, we could just scoop her up, but... if her dad is decent as he sounds? She should get home."

Piper is watching the door. "I hope shampoo isn't bad for her wings, like, don't you need natural oils and all that?" But then back to the conversation. "Family is important. And if her grandma is as nasty as she sounds, that is gotta be hard on her pops to have his own mom be turning on him and her. We'll have to find a way to help."

Steam is flowing from the door

"Totally."

"Better hope her feathers don't STEAM off. I think she meant it about hot water" Gerd says observing "And yeah, we... we might have a winner in her dad. though bias for her dad might be in play he SOUNDS like just the sort of mortal that could hang with fae even if he can't be told"

"Yeah. I'm sure there are freeholds in Maine, too, so we won't leave her hanging if she goes back to him."

"I mean, if she stays here we'll figure it out too."

"Don't fly too close to the steam, Icarus!" Piper calls over, with a grin. "Calling Ann Marie is a good idea. Even if she's not, like, in the know about whatever he's in trouble with, I'm sure she'll KNOW someone. Boggans have networks, I hear. People under estimate them all the time. But maybe they plan on that and that's how they manage to manage everyone so well, from the sidelines without being noticed."
