"I mean, we'll have to get her set up with the basics... escheat and everything. I'll probably take her to the Lodge next."

She rubs the back of her neck. "Worst case, she can crash at the Barn."

"You've got a new baby there, though. I'm sure she's perfectly nice, but she is a stranger. Maybe the guest rooms at the Lodge?"

"Lodge I think" A nod

"Oh, right... I didn't think... shit, yeah."

"And it's probably good for her to be by the balefire. I don't know how she managed for WEEKS without dreamers... maybe flying is like, her passion, and helped stoke her own fire." Admiring, and perhaps a little envious.

"Maybe. She might have ravaged by accident, too."

"Oh geez I hope not" Wince

Piper goes still, and after a moment, says, "She can't be held accountable if she didn't know..."

Dag frowns. "If she didn't know better? Alone? Yeah, she can't be blamed for trying to survive."

"I don't know if the Liams would see that way.. and besides, you KNOW it's wrong... you ..know you're trying to break a trust, you know you're trying to destroy a loving relationship or tarnish someone's faith.. you can lie to yourself," Gerd says "But .. you know you're doing wrong. Now.. survival can drive you to do it but...it feels bad. " An admission " I came close once. Didn't but.. I knew"

"I haven't done it, to be honest. But I heard you know how. Like... instinct?"

Piper fidgets with her drink can. "Well, she'll know better. No one even needs to know if she fucked up, really. IF she even did."

"Which she might not have, yeah."

"Either way, she's gotta get the basics."

The shower has stopped, and then "Oh geez.. Piper. I am sorry for what I'm doing to your gray towel"

"It started out white, so don't worry! I got hair dye on it once, and probably gonna get paint on it later!" Jarred from her previous contemplation with a chuckle.

"Okay.. ah.. I am guessing.. nay HOPING that we are NOT expected to shave our legs in satyr society? Becuase.. COME ON... "

Gerd snerks at that

A laugh. "Oh lord no. You'd look like a raw chicken ready for the pot."

"Wasn't gonna say it, " Gerd says "Then you said it.... so now I wonder if I'm allowed or it's a 'too tall for that commentary'"

And the door swings open and inwalks Alyce

A laugh. "I allow it." And a low whistle. "You clean up nice, lady. Help yourself to anything in the closet. My borfirend dozed off so you can change in the bathroom or wherever if you feel comfortable."

A small smile at the kinain sprawled on the floor. "Musta worn him out. Yet, I'm still full of energy..." a snicker.

"I know, Piper... I feel like a major mooch" She says unsure

"You're hard up. And now you see why I said I got shit to pay forward - they helped me, too."

"I'm getting that" Alyce looks over and down at Adam "Okay. He's cute. I'll admit it"

"Don't let that innocent face fool ya."

"He's 100 percent teenaged guy."

"He's cute when he's sleeping, yeah."

Gerd says "he IS brave though. Push comes to shove, he's willing to help"

"If it makes you feel better... "A sheepish grin. "I got that chair on layaway from Dagmar's mum, Baz - my cousin - he insisted on getting me those two stools. The food Gerd brought looks like the Hearth of the lodge - she's like the Den Mother - made it, and she's fed us ALL more times then we can count... and my auntie and uncle are footing the first month's rent on this place... and the landlord is one of the tribe, so he gives us a discount or I'd probably never see a place this bousgie. So it's not mooching, it's.. like, a village."

"Huh... crap," Alyce says "You guys are commies!" then she grins "Yeah I get it. I'll find a way to pay it forward. Thanks, Dagmar, Thanks, PIper, Thanks Gerd."

SHe looks at Gerd "And thanks for OTHER food too."

Blink. "Commies, huh?"

"Oh.. that was mostly Kerri too" Gerd says "I just.. homeless kithian shouldn't happen in Rivervale. Ever"

"Well, I guess families are kind of like that. Good ones."

"I wonder if we can convince the Hayes company to put in a hot tub...." A long sigh, longing.

Gerd says "Piper, you came here for space. you really WANT us crashing here using you as an excuse?"

"I wanted some space of my own... and i have it, and now I want to fill it with friends. See, my house, my rules, it makes sense okay?" A grin.

"Actually, there ARE some empty units. I wonder..." Thoughtful.

"Does the Chief ever run out of space for guests at the lodge?"
