"Your fam should be picking up some skills by now, I might think. By the time they're sained most folk have at least a couple basics. But not sure if they're going that direction."

"I've done more magic than they have." He says about his family. "What do you mean, not going in that direction?"

"Well, maybe they're learning different cantrips and all. You'd know them better than I."

A puff, disbelieving.

Nabuni says "Actually uhm.."

"What?"

"Like, Lily might learn willow whisper... or someone might say that's kithist of me to say just because she's a sluagh." And she looks to Nab?

"Your family are getting lessons" Naburni says "I've been around here when you haven't"

"Yeah? From who? The Mountain?"

"Other satyrs mostly" She says

She blinks, and gets a somewhat suspicious look. "Oh?"

"Huh?"

"Oooohhh.. wait...."

"Well, anyways. I'd get it if you didn't want to ask them." Understandingly. "It must be so weird... first you know about fae, and they have no clue, then they ARE fae, and you're supposed to teach them, even though you're not but you know more, and then you ARE... or will be..."

A shrug. "I'm sure someone at the Lodge could help if you wanted. And... you should probably talk to the chief. She can tell you more about your quest..."

"Mrs. Carollos?"

"Well, and Zane and Professor... but yes, Mrs. Carollos"

"Who?"

"Oh, and Etsie"

"Oh, Piper... Mrs. Carollos...." he flops back down " She's.... AMAZING...."

"Isn't it odd that the tragos has taken on their teaching? I'm surprised that the Lodge hasn't swooped on Mr. Thomas to teach him the epic scrolls of Trolldom Lore."

"Oh, Olgar has helped Mr. Thomas some... mostly in fighting lessons though. And who knows where Mr. Thomas goes to some of those nights"

"Huh?" Looking at Nab.

"I wonder if Lily knows. She probably knows more than she lets on. Sluagh tend to."

"Oh, that one is the quickest learner of the bunch" A glance at Adam 'No offense"

"None... taken?"

Meanwhile, Piper has picked up the sheathed fiona sword, and is curiously kenning in. A lovely piece of voile, a dueling weapon perhaps, or maybe a treasure?

Adam will absolutely help remove his sword belt so she can have the weapon.

Maybe with a moment's distraction as she plays with the buckle...

It's ... powerful she can ken something in it

"Mmm... your blade has some juice in it." She says carefully offering it back. "I'm sorry. I wish I COULD tell more. Maybe we can learn Primal together..."

"She's right, that's more than just a weapon.. i mean, not just a typical one" A curious look "Since when does someone get the better of a genie twice in one night?"

"I once bested a gal named Jeannie twice in one night..."She grins

"Huh?" He is easily distracted.

Nab grins "oooo story time!"

A laugh and she shakes a finger at Nab. "Now, it's not polite to kiss and tell."

He sits up, and can't seem to tell if he wants more attention on his sword or... his sword.

"So, what did you think about that Quest the chief mentioned? Something about her wish?"

"Mmmm....." He strokes her arm. "Maybe we can do that and our summer trip together?"

"Mm. Maybe... I'll help you out if I can, definitely."

"Thanks."

And he hugs her.

She gives him a hug back, and sighs, giving him a tight, almost desperate squeeze.

"Hey.... you ok?" He hugs back.

"I'm sorry. I know you're going through so much. It's just... a lot, and... I..." She bites her lip. "I like -you-, Adam. You're the one I fell in love with, right? Not some... some stranger, some Fiona Lordling who suddenly shows up in your shoes. "

Nab watches

"Love?"

"Fell..... in Love?"

She looks back up at him, unsure. "You... you know I love you, don't you?" Worried by his reaction.

His smile blooms and warms like the sun. "I love you."
