The fact she really looks more like what falls off the BACK of a wardog when you comb it during heavy shedding season is lost on her.

A knock on the kitchen window

"I got it..."

And there's Snow "Friend.." she says through the glass "I have heard many joyous triumphs have occured. is it true your mother has finally freed the little one from her belly?"

She opens the window. "She has, CJ has arrived."

"He's very small, still."

"Bigger than a cantaloupe yet? Surely not as big as a watermelon" Snow comes in and makes her measurements

"Hm. Smaller than a watermelon, for sure." She snags a clementine from the hanging basket and offers it to Snow.

"Oh, you are WISE, Dagmar friend" Snow says taking the clementine , "New life should be celebrated, and what better way to celebrate than with fruit?" She soon is digging in but toasts "To the small one's health, may he grow bigger than a watermelon, and strong as a coconut tree"

A soft chuff. "A very nice blessing. Thank you, Snow."

A pair of ears are just visible in the window as well - and then a set of eyes, peering in, as Connor peeps in behind Snow.

"You are welcome" Snow grins then turns "oh, it is Connor. do you think he brings more fruit so we can toast again?"

A sheepish expression and he ducks back down - out of sigh- wait, no, still can see eartips.

Dag opens the kitchen door. "Connor, do you want to come in?"

"We have SO MUCH FOOD."

He hesitates. "I'm not supposed to be bothering you. I was just going to wait until it's time to go back to work. But I, um..I brought back your towels." He offers a small armload of what he had hefted to the lodge during The Event.

"Connor, you aren't bothering."

"You wanna see CJ? He's awake."

His eyes widen. "I can?"

"Sure you can."

"No one never let me near a human puppy before." He looks intrigued and wistful.

"Well, like a regular puppy, you want to be quiet and gentle, and be kind to Mama."

"Mom, Connor's here." She calls to the living room - indeed, true to her advice, she doesn't shout.

He trails in shyly, and his voice is scarcely louder than when he talks to Lily. "Allo Miss Tove..."

Dag follows, possibly with a monkey on her shoulder.

Snow waves to Connor as she's carried on Dagmar's shoulder

Tove turns... "Connor, hey..oh and snow..with a fruit. The odds boggle"

In Tove's arms is the human puppy, small and pink, with a fair mount of hair on his head.. but sadly oNLY on his head. he shall freeze come winter.. or have to wear pjs

Jaymes smiles to see Connor, and nods a hello

"So this is CJ."

His mouth opens in a "O" of surprise. "He's so little...." And looking at Tove behind her burden. "But you're all skinny again. That's good, otherwise there wouldn't be any lap for him to sit on."

"I know Odin and TwoBit approve of Tove's lap."

CJ looks at Connor with large blue eyes

Tove sighs "I'd like to lose just a BIT more lap but I worry it's not going to happen" She chuckles

"if i'm very lucky it'll all get back down to normal" She says
