"Sorry I sort of conked out at the lodge yesterday."

"Of course, he's sleeping NOW." A look at the innocent-seeming babe in the bouncer.

A snerk "That's how it works I think. And you know, if you need a break it's okay to stay there at the lodge now and then. Just.. don't skip out so much that your father and I get sulky. We love our daughter"

Blush-shrug.

"But we also know you might get stir crazy. So.. invite Lupe and May over some time. i want to show CJ off to them, then you guys can escape for a day . Deal?"

"Sometime, sure..."

"No rush," She says and tries to reach her toes "I just... " Grunt "Don't want you... missing out... on .." Grunt "Fun. "

"Well, everybody is stuck right now."

"There are ways and sneaky means" Stretch and another oof and "Okay.. Your mom lives here now. I can tell. This is my life." She may have gotten stuck

Dag offers a hand up.

She takes it.

Rises and says "Thanks honey I..."

Low growl and not from two bit

Jaymes has come out of the kitchen . Growl grumble grouse ("What are you doing? You just had a baby!")

"Jaymes, I'm fine. " She waves it off, "Our daughter helped me up. Stop fussing."

Grouse grumble grumph goes he.

Then she stops, "Wait, whose minding the store?"

"Got help." he says "Temp hire"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah" He nods "Mortal so we have to be careful"

"Ohhhh, no Buddy then."

"Not today" he nods "Now.." A look at Tove "I thought you were exercising WITH Kerri?"

"Jaymes," She says "I do when I can but she's very busy. " A firm look "I am not going to remain helpless"

Dag does drift over to check on Baby.

The baby stirs slowly, CJ opens his eyes and ..kind of giggles to see her.

"Oh hi..."

While this goes on, mom and dad talk quietly.

How can he look so angelic and still make those noises at night?

She hovers a finger over his face.

His little eyes try to follow. Good practice.

"Like an airplane. Brrrrmmmmmm."

Clint James makes little lip sounds too.. or, as ever, could be gas.

And the parents stop talking, turn, and smile together watching quietly as their eldest entertains and distracts the baby of the family.

Any fussing they had going each other dying at this sweet sweet moment.

Daaaawwww they mentally agree with each other.

Dagmar, luckily, does not see this.

No, right nwo she's got the focus of her bright eyed brother who tries to mimic, with limited success, the sounds she's making and follow that finger

A soft chuckle.

She actually keeps him entertained for several minutes when he finally decides to sort of hold out his hands in what COULD be a 'mere' gesture

"Um... Tove? I think he wants Mama..."

"Oh. Mmm might be fine with anyone picking him up. " But she moves and picks up the baby

CJ snuggles

A wistful sigh.

And Dagmar feels something or someone at her feet
