Dagmar has settled into a low-grade scowl again.

Then they walk by a window on the third floor hallway and hear _"oh I LIKE em young... filling out , there ain't no doubt"

A chimerical vine is pressing against the glass, it's face composed of leaves, one large leave filling in for a tongue and licking the glass as it eyes the two teens

"Oh yes...trolls, papa likes em thiiiiic"

Gerd shudders

"Yeah... I see you hot sluts. You want to spread my pollen?" The Vine waggles leaves substituting for eyebrows

"Oh that is..." Gerd's eyes darken "Where's a weed eatter when we need it?"

GLARE.

"Okay, fine, we'll go kill that thing."

She turns on her heel to tromp downstairs.

Gerd follows. She's got NO arguement here. "Gross green piece of..." Mutter curse

Grunt of agreement.

"Should we ask mr. Dyer for weeding eqiumpent if he has it?"

A pause "Or just let Flyswater rip it up by the roots?"

A nod.

"Call me Paul Bunyan, yeah?"

"Bet he was a troll, anyways."

"A BLUE ox as a buddy no less? Total troll" She agrees

And they go down, and out to find the Creeper Vine.

"SuP you bitches, liking the angle of my dangle?" The vine asks

"Hmph." And she takes Flyswatter in her grip.. adjusting it before striking a mighty blow at the vine's roots.

"OWW! It was a compliment! Not so much on the ruff stuff..what's the safe word?"

The blow hacks and hews... the Vine is already losing a grip above and crumbling... a bit

WHACK.

"I like.." Gasp "Strong women..."

That second blow severs i t... and 80% of it writhes after it falls "So you're saying there's a chance?"

Glower.

Gerd says "Let's kill this limp lettuce already" And she touches the ground where the lower 10 percent are still jutting out

that part is going "It's not the size of me, it's how I make you squeal"

Gerd makes a motion... and portal passages so there's now access to the base roots "Dagmar, here! I think we can get to the base of it now"

"Gotcha..." She grabs the stump and PULLS.

Gerd helps, but yeah, Dagmar is the thor to her Dr. Strange... together they tear the base roots out... and the Creeper screams "bitches be craz...zzee.."

then thrashes, and dies

Gerd says "Okay . I want a shower, and not because of the dirt"

"Right? We go tmuch patrol left?"

"Not really, just wander through the complex and others are patroling elsewhere. You want me to flicker flash us to the lodge?"

"Let's nto waste the glamour - walking is fine."

'I suppose yeah, just in case someone does need us more than creeper weeding" a nose wrinkle at the remnants "Jerk vine"

"Total jerk."

Their path back has them come in sight of Jaymes' store. Looks like it's actually somewhat busy despite a sign that says 'no more than three people in the store at a time please, six foot spacing requested"

"Man..." Longing. "Wish I could say hi to Dad..."

A head pops up in the window - ears perked. They're not close, but someone has keen hearing.

And, apparently is trying to inspire a bit of levity...

"Why not?" She asks "I mean.. we could say hello to the window and ..oh what is he doing there?" Alarm "I know he was helping but I didn't think Buddy was there during all this. He's supposed to be catching up on school" Gerd grumphs

He spots Gerd, and suddenly vanishes.
