"Wow." Admiring. May might feel... attention. "Hey."

"Can I help you?" She says

May is not enchanted. She's just a really nice mortal, at least at first glance.

"You.... don't we have classes together?" A charming smile.

"I think so, did you need some notes or something?" Dubious brow

The spring chimera dances around her head, giving her a halo.

"Uh.... yeah! Yeah, notes. Uh. Do you have notes I could borrow?"

"For which class?" she tilts her head as if a bit confused by him "Math or English?"

"Both!" Brightly. "You got time at lunch for me to copy?"

"Not really. I'm meeting my boyfriend. Here, why don't you take pictures of the pages with your phone"

"Yeah, ok, that's cool." He takes his time, though.... Boyfriend?

Once he takes the pictures of the pages, she says "Okay. Hope that helps. I got to go"

And she moves, great legs

The spring chimera says "That was her. May. Lovely name, May..."

Adam sighs.

And a crowd swarms by....

"latest kicks..."

"Not enough hits on my tweets!"

And the chimera shivers as if.. as if spring could get cold

it's just day to day banality, the mundane cutting through the wonder...

yet the Spring creation is not strong and... it seems to fade a bit.

"hey!" Soft. "You ok?"

"no..." It sounds weaker

"i'm..sorry... ther'es not enough...glamour here"

"Dude?" A guy walking by "You on drugs? You're talking to yourself"

The cold notion itself not helping

"C'mere...." He will collect the chimera if he can in his arms and leave the school.

And he does... slipping out, and risking trouble if the principal finds out.

But who cares about that?

"Better?" Softly.

"little bit... I can still dream of spring" A sigh "I am a dream of spring. Very circular?"

"What would help?"

"I.. don't know, it's harder to think...to be more than just a whim. Someone real...like the nightmare boy, but nicer, might know"

"Night..... Symon? He's in school."

"No..the one you gave the paper too.. he's night amre too, but he's real. I don't know a symon. Do.. do you know a place with more real people?"

"-Him-???? Uh... yeah. Uh, but... more reallll.... yeah. I do. I can take you there. Can you stay with me?"

"I'll..try.."

"Please do. I'm going straight there, but .... if you need to take from me... go ahead." And he carries her to his car and drives to the park parking lot and up to the Lodge, if he can.

She finishes polishing the metal of her shop project, ready to take it home to show off...

"Nice, you continue to improve" The shop teacher says

she sees a dwarf. That.. I mean, it's pure chimera, but it's a dwarf all right...like in one of the middle earth movies. He walks past folks and seems to be looking for something
