A knock on the door of the Barn/Dagmar's house

"Thanks, honey, my hands are in dough" Tove says

When Dagmar opens the door (Assuming she does) she sees the oldest satyr she's ever seen. So old like her horns are kind of drooping, the old woman leans on a cane.

"Uh...hi?"

"Oh thank goodness, this must be the right place," the old woman helps herself in "I'm Etsie, dear. You must be Dagmar...pardon" she chuckles "DAME Dagmar, meaning no disrespect. Heard about you, my but you've got a form on you. You work out? Just tell me where to take a seat and I'll get out of your way"

"Um. You... you looking for my parents?"

"No no, though a cup of something to warm the old bones would be welcome if you're offering." She smlies and looks about with bleary eyes "Oh my, my kenning is going"

Brow furrow.

"So... sorry, but, um... what?"

"Kenning dear, the ability to sense glamour. Mine maybe off." A chuckle "It's not the years it's ..oh who am I kidding? It's both. As for a drink, not sure ,shot of whiskey? Cup of coffee, hot coco? Whatever is easiest" She eyes a chair "Is that okay to sit in?"

Blink...

"Sure?"

"I'll get you some coffee. We have half a pot left..."

"OH thanks, " She moves on over and hops up a bit and looks down "You're a gem, a true gem."

Down from the chair that is.

"Um. If you don't want my parents.. um..."

Tove calls out, "Who was it?" Still in the kitchen

She hesitates, then heads for the kitchen. "She's still here? She wants coffee."

"What? " Tove peeks out and stares "Hello. I'm sorry, who are you?" she asks the satyress.

"Etsie, and nice it is to meet you. This is lovely! Not quite what I expected, but lovely. Did you do the designs?"

"Well, my husband and I had help," TOve says flattered.

Odin walks by.

Dag gets a cup of coffee, straining to keep listening.

And Etsie makes a sound that Dagmar may not have heard QUITE before but sounds.. not unpleasing?

and Odin, eyes the old woman, who, at the last moment turns her head as if ignoring the cat. This cannot be condoned, and Odin chooses to defy her by leaping up to her lap.

"Oh there you are," Etsie says "A real lord of the lodge I see" She strokes "What's his name?"

Dag returns, with cup. "That's Odin. The traitor."

"Mmm..." She seems to have found Odin's sweet spot in record time. For he is going cat drift to his feline happy place and purring..the old woman's nails dig in juuust the right area.

"Thank you for the coffee, dear," Etsie sips it, "is the Chieftain in?"

"Oh. Chief wouldn't be here."

"Are... are you lost? Do you need the hold?"

"Wait," the old satyr looks about blinking "Are you saying this is not the Rivervale lodge?"

"No?"

Tove fights a smile "I'm afraid you picked the wrong building, they're a little under a mile or so that way "

"So you need to get to the Lodge? That's a long walk for..." She stops herself before saying it

" A libertarian?" blink blink

"A what?"

"A girl who once made Ringo feel like the most important Beatle?"

"Pardon?"

"Well after taht I suspect what you almost said was that it was a long walk for someone so old," A smile "And it is, but I can make it I think. I'm the one who should be embarrased. I don't know the laws on entering, but I might be tresspassing. Oh I confess to beling releived really. I kept kenning about and wondering 'I can't even ken a balfefire anymore? Dionysius' barrel's bottom that's distressing. So this is actually a pleasant surprise for me even if I've imposed on all of you"

Tove says "It's hardly trouble, just a bit of a misunderstanding. Dagmar respects elders usually. "

"But some of us are assholes," Etsie says with a tisk "Poor girl , wasting respect on assholes"

"Hey!"

" I mean, dear, "Tove clarifies "That you dont' find them trouble and neither do I.. not that you disrespected her. YOu were very polite and I'm quite proud"

"I just... " Huff.

"So. Do you need an escort to the Lodge? I know the shortcut."

"WOuld you feel better knowing I was safe on the path with you by my side, or would you like to stay home?" Etsie says drinking
