Raindrop flies through the house, happily zooming.

She hits the kitchen counters, hooves clattering, then launches again.

And Tove smiles at the sound , turning.

She knows she's a hypocrite, teasing her husband about hsi affection for Twobit, but she too has her favorite. When she was a girl on Thyle, she used to dream of a flying horse that would take her away.

Raindrop is too small for that, but she is still a flying horse, and the dream realized makes her smile I am away to a home, a real home. I have a daughter I love, a man who is my world, and a child on the way. I am successful, and my music and my crafts are valued.)

She sings "Raindrop on kitchen top and twobit a yapping...

Odin is upstairs, probably napping.

I'm surprised why don't have hamsters chewing on strings

for good grief this house sure loves furry things!"

"Critters on carpets, critters on couches

creatures that stand tall, others with slouches

they shed and they fuss, they bark and they purr

no one told me my wardrobe would now always include fur!"

She twirls, as best she can, "When the dog barks

when I swallow hair

when I'm filling a bowl so it tings

I simply remember that despite all my fuss...

even I like... furry things"

She whirls to see Jaymes

Who is looking at her with concern.

"I'm fine." She assures him.

A doubtful nod from him.

"It's not hormones getting to my brain," She insists at his look.

Another nod from him, slooww and even.

And he backs away

"To-ove, have you seen my sneakers?" A call from upstairs - she might not say 'mom,' but that two-note cry is pitch perfect.

Tove gives her husband a look letting him know he's not getting away this then calls out "Have you checked at the foot of the stairs? You leave them there sometime!"

At no response, she realizes her daughter might not have heard, and departs the kitchen to check the foot of the stairs herself

There they are!

She grabs them, shakes her head, and heads up to her daughter's room. If the door is closed, she knocks. If it's open, well, then the sight of her carrying the shoes should be obvious.

"You found them!"

Her room is a mild explosion from pulling out the warren of stuff under her bed.

"Yes. You need to stop leaving them at the foot of the steps" She hands them over "I worry you'll trip one day"

"Now, try to clean this up a bit, then go out and have fun"

ANd she closes the door before her daughter can protest.

TXT: Dude. You busy? Zane's message comes up on Adam's phone

He whips off a quick one. Work at Sports for another hour. Sup?

TXT: Was heading to the farm. Wondered if you wanted to go...but it can wait

TXT: I want! But.... I said I'd stay till 1:30. Fuck.

TXT: Go on. I'll go another time maybe.

TXT: It's cool dude. How about I wait at the lodge. It's empty. I can wait another hour or so. _

TXT: Yeah? You're the best. See you there.

And time, passes.

As it does. Adam clocks out and heads, post-haste, to the Lodge. He pulls into the parking lot and dashes up the path. He's not Satyr fast but.... he's an athlete.

He pauses just a moment to compose himself before knocking.

(And move to RV room)

Some time later, there is a large-knuckled knock on the door of the Wayburton home.

Piper opens the door, hesitating as she looks up at the chieftain. "Um. Hi." Then, realizing. "Oh, come in, please."

"Good afternoon, Piper. Is your father available? If he is busy, I will not interrupt."
