"I admit, I don't see the appeal either," Nadeen says to the sluagh "But i'm biased so."

"What's doing all this?"

Still working at the lock, he glances over to Adam. "Cupid? If the day has enough belief in it... it could be a concrete manifestation of the bullshit."

"Cupid?" He grins.

He scowls. "You think this is funny - wait until you get a prick while looking at someone who's NOT a..." mutter mutter, grunt, twiddles the lock.

Sylvi settles to sit on the hallway floor, her back against a locker, her eyes never leaving her phone screen. Scroll....pause...scroll...pause...

"oo.." Nadeen says, wobbling, then, she braces against Dagmar, "Sorry, " She apologizes, then "God, Sam your eyes are like..honey"

"Symon hate to break it to ya, but I -have- a prick....."

"You are a prick." He scowls, giving the lock a last twist to see if it will open before he gives up.

Dagmar blushes. "You think so?"

It opens

"I know so," Nadeen says

"That's.. that's real sweet of you, Nadeen." A smile.

"Ah!" He snaps his fingers and swings it open, taking a step back to reveal...

"Takes one to know one!" Cheerfully.

Nothing! Unless, of course, you're a sluagh who can see past hiding magics. Then you see a cupid with a bow

Sylvi's enrapt with her phone screen, biting her lip.

"Call off the cat" The Cupid says pointing the arrow "Or I'll have you humping door knobs" To Symon

She twists a curl of hair. "Yours are like the winter sky. One of those days with no clouds and that cold sun?"

"mmm" Pleased sound. Nadeen says "You're like a warrior poet, you know?"

And Adam blinks as Dagmar and Nadeen seem to be getting closer, and closer, this is.. hot.

"Warrior, yes, but all the poetry I have is you..."

Syvli , on the other hand, is really wanting Colton here... NOW. There's..things, she could use him for.

She licks her lips, then sends a quick text....

Symon growls at the Cupid aiming the arrow at him. "I can be tied to the mast Odysseus style to avoid your curse. You call off your winged fuck-squads first."

"Looks like our mission is done anyway," The Cupid says eying Nadeen now moving on Dagmar

Adam does not let his puzzlement interfere with his interest in the ladies.

Nadeen warms happily, "You want to.. go to Sadie Hawkins with me?"

"Yes!" She responds quickly, happily.

And... without thinking it through or worrying, yet.

He turns to catch what the Cupid is looking at, and... watches for a moment. Then his expression hardens, and he hisses at the cherub, "I hope she kills all of you." And slams the door shut on it (or at least, attempts to do so, before it can get a shot off - not even caring about the loud noise it will make).

The cupid touches the side of his head, "Hugs, SNugs call of the.. hey you son of .." Clang!

And arrow fires! But in the locker it ...

well, there's a voice "I'm hit." Then "Hey...you're kind of sexy" but who is the cupid talking to? Symon doesn't know. Maybe there's a spare sock in there

...urgent texting...

Nadeen breaks into a joyous smile, like the ice around her heart has thawed and a bloom has begun, "Wonderful. We can talk about what you want to wear, I'll match somehow"

He leans against the locker, glancing around - Sylvi making goo-goo eyes and that stupid grin at her phone - Adam just hanging around - Nadeen and Dagmar, oh. A mutter, "I'm outta here." And he grabs his backpack, and heads off down the hallway towards the main doors.

Sylvi scrambles to her feet. "Coming with you!" She grabs her coat out of her locker, then hurries for the door, calling over her shoulder, "Cover for me!"

"Hey, good looking," Lupe says, "there you are," A smile at Symon "So there's this Dance, coming up? Sadie hawkins..."

Nadeen hears Sylvi say ...something "Sure. Sure."

A slow smile breaks out over Adam's face as he watches.

Lupe waylays Symon, and Sylvi is...no help whatsoever, she utterly bails on him and all but runs out the door.

Zane walks down the hallway "Hey I..." And he sees Nadeen and Dagmar, and a bitter sweet smile crosses his face, "Ah, nevermind. It's...good."

He shakes his head at Lupe. "Not a chance." His voice... impolite - nah, it's outright chilly. "Go find Dirk."

Dagmar risks a touch to Nadeen's cheek.

"I'll wear the suit, whatever dress you wear will be perfect."

Adam sighs, pleased, and grabs his phone for a quick text.

"Wait, are you seeing someone else? " Lupe growls
