Sam gently drifts back into studying the fall of silve-blonde curls.

"Very nice, Sam. Now.. " And the class goes on.

Nadeen doesn't know a sluagh is spying her. Alas, with Whispermourn lost to her, she is vulnerable to crawler depredations!

But there's no unusual glamour on Nadeen.

Hmph. On edge, he casts a glance over the rest of the room. One hand lightly resting on the shadowcat snoozing on his lap, unaware that he looks like a villain staking out the crowd.

"The fuck you looking at?" Lupita whispers to Symon when he gives her the evil eye in his glance

“Everything and nothing. Eldritch contradictions of all matter, force, and cosmic order.”

A ssoft flutter of wings behind him.. and a TWHIP sound...

Ones he was never meant to hear

His head whips around to look on a neck that shouldn’t turn that far...

Something heads , some kind of concentrated glamour..right towrds his head and he has only seconds to dodge

Something shots past him, it.. looked kind of like..was it a red stick? He weaves and realizes he does not want to risk whatever this is.

And it misses him.

Lupe gives a bit of a breath, and mutters in a huskey voice "Muy Attractivo"

A hiss, possibly loud enough for Dagmar or other nearby students to hear, and he gives Lovecraft a shake to waken the kitty. And he startles out of his seat, despite being mid-lecture. Trying to catch a glimpse of whatever shot at him.

The bell rings

Dag misses Symon's disturbance - she's captivated by the swanlike bend of Nadeen's neck.

Nadeen says "Hey, you okay? You were really on the spot for a moment there."

And Symon is sure there is some thing he missed, a powerful hide rede or cantrip? As a sluagh he's more...

then a hand goes on his back, gentle, almost massaging, "You looking for...something, Simon?"

"Yeah. Sorry, kinda... dunno, dreamy today?"

And he practically leaps from his skin, crashing into his chair and knocking it over. "?!" A sound that doesn't quite make it into words.

"Hey, it's okay," Lupe leans forward, and whispers in his ear, "I know you're shy. Just let me...guide you."

Which on his back gives him a look at some..well, that's cleavage right?

Not a lot, I mean, she's petite, but ... it's there

Nadeen nods "Hey, if you're not feeling well, I can walk you to the nurse's off..." then a clatter as the SLUAGH falls over

He backs away, bumping into his desk, and then sliding around to put it between him and Lupe. A person he doesn't know well - a GIRL person - a FEMALE, GIRL PERSON, looming in. He shoots a desperate glance at Dagmar.

"That's nice of you, but I feel really good actually..." A pause. "Symon?"

"I, uh." A sudden thought, and his hand goes to his chest. "Have you seen my inhaler? I think I need it." (ping)

Adding a touch of a pathetic wheeze on there for good measure.

"I can get it, is in your pockets?" Lupe looks hopefully at his pants

"Sy?" Blink.

"I got him, Sam," Lupe says, her eyes kind of hungry.

Nadeen sighs "You go help Simon." Nadeen still doesn't like him, but she recognizes friendship. GOSH, Nadeen's so wonderful, overcoming her bias enough to encourage her to help a friend. Damn, she's just so wonderful

He sidles back towards Dagmar (and incidently Nadeen, and whispers, "Something is going on. And I don't like it."

"S'okay Lupe, I know where his spare is..." SHe slings his arm over her shoulder to haul him out.

"Maybe he's just happy to see us?" Lupe purrs, well, it's a bit of a growl purr but hey

Nadeen eyes Simon, "What did you do to Lupe, Symon?" Whispering

And is hauled out. He half-leans on Dagmar so that he can whisper up at her - or rather Sam, her ears are less far away. "Whatever it was shot something at me. It missed and I think it tagged Lupe. I have a bad feeling about what day it is... and you've been acting a bit weird, too."

"Something hit Lupe? There was this glamour thing earlier..."

Nadeen looks troubled. "Okay, let's get this further out. Away from unenchanted ears"

As always, Nadeen is so very much a natural leader. At least, those smitten with her might realize this

He gives a small nod, and is willing to follow, though still wary. A glance behind him to make sure that Lupe isn't trailing them. A whisper to Lovecraft - "Be on your guard. If you see anything with feathery wings... today, they count as Chicken."

"Whatever it was didn't hurt?"

Lovecraft hisses "They're in the airvents"

"They started this, so they're fair game, mighty huntress." A stroke on her back.

Twisting his neck that uncanny way to look up at the vents contemplatively. "As if I'd pull a die hard. I could fit... but that sounds like a great way to get cornered by... the enemy."

He can sense them, waiting. It's like cyrstal lake up there... Love Love Love... kiss kiss kiss...

"You're sure you're ok?" Nadeen moves to brush Dagmar's face, check her eyes for dilation

A shudder.
