December 17th, a new morning, and oh what gossip is flying through out the county!

Romana , as a new boggan, gets thrust in the deep end of it, but finds she likes it "So many new fledges!"

"I don't get it," One fellow says "Shouldn't there have been like STORM clouds of glamour?" the boggan carpenter scratches his chin.

"I don't understanbd it either sir, brand new... but word has it" She says "That Adam's mother is a satyress... and his father a troll"

"Sounds like a good way for a family to break up," The older boggan says

"Oh I'm sure they'll make it work" Romana says "True love conquers all"

"mmm well, with a little help it does," The boggan elder says

Romana nods at that. She's learning so much about being a boggan. And part of being a boggan is you get the work done and leave none the wiser. Folks think so many things 'just happen' but the truth is, it takes boggans to set it up! How the other kith can be so blind she doesn't know but they clearly are.

And off she goes...

"MORE Of you freaks?" McGillicuddy snorts at the girl "And get off my lawn!"

"i'm on the sidewalk, Miss McGillicuddy" Romana says as she walks past the old woman's house "And it's joyous isn't it?"

And she moves onto the 'other' new fledges Wynette and Malcolm... not hard to find Malcolm, the Eshu has been building snow men... apparently one snow man is surrounded by ninja snowmen and the fight is about to begin.

Then the snowball splats her

"Hey!"

She turns and has to hide behind another snowman as she almost gets splatted "Malcolm Washington, don't make me tell your mother!"

"Awwww" The Eshu pouts

"Well, I can see you're okay," She mmphs "I was just checking on you"

"im great! YULE AND Christmas? OH yeah" the boy grins

"Most changelings just merge them or do just one" She says "So dont' expect double the number of gifts."

"Rats' He pouts.

Wynette comes out "Malcolm, where is the ketchup bottle?"

"I needed blood for the ninja battle snow men!" He calls out

"Oh I'm going to get notes from school this spring I can tell," Mrs. Washington says, then sees Ramona, "Ramona? What news?"

Ramona beams! That's an open door "Well, since you asked..."A breath

And she explains about Nadeen getting sained, her father's arrival, dark threats! New kithain newer than either of them! Adam's courage! The dark attempting to work it's way and failing! The stories of a lost eye of power! and so much more

"and rover olgar returned alive and well!"

Wynette blinks, "Well, aren't they busy blue beavers"

"Quite, of course, Luca has her quest.. and some say Symon the sluagh has been collecting finger bones from grave sites and assembling them in a pentagram of sorts around the lodge but no one knows for weal or woe! And that a stone woman has been seen whispering to the local statues in the town and after she does, their eyes glow with glamour! And that Piper the satyr has been sent here to spy on us by Count Jude? She seems nice to me though."

"COOL" Malcolm says "mom, can I dig up some graves?"

"is your room clean, your studying for when the break is over done, and are you willing to eat your veggies the next time I tell you too?" The mother raises a brow.

"Noooo" the Eshu grumbles.

"Well, Symon eats his vegetables, and that's why HIS parents let him rob graves" Wynette says

The boy kicks the snow "stupid grave yards anyway"

Ramona doesn't know if she should correct this, probably not

"That's not even the JUICY stuff" Ramona admits

Wynette shrugs "Pass. But thanks for the update. Are you up for baby sitting some time? Sylvi might be busy"

"oh umm" A bit sad that no one wants to hear the Juicy stuff "Sure? give me a call and I'll see how busy I am that night you want?"

'Will do, thanks." Wynette says "Malcolm, come inside, and bring the ketchup with you"

"Awwww" but he grabs things and goes in.

Ramona walks off muttering "Grumps have no sense of priorities"

Another Kithain! "Hi."

"What?" Dirk turns "Do you want?"

"uhm.." She swallows..right, redcaps = mean "Nothing just..." She's wishing she stayed closer to the washington area. "Just.. saying hi to folks and keeping folks up to date on news?"

"What are you, the town Crier?" A snort, Dirk looks her over, "You gotta watch this..not every one is your friend. I'm sure not."

She takes a step back, "I .. I believe you. But I thought you worked for the ..for the lodge."

"I'm Peacekeeper, but there's lots of ways to get peace," He answers, "And yeah, I know. I got left out on all the action." SCOWL
