"When you possess someone.... do they just go away?"

The little chimera begins to cuss.

Some of it quite creative.

Then finally she takes a deep breath "No, for the SIXTH time... most often I am merely along for the ride. I nudge"

"Hey, hey, hey.... " he offers his hands, attempting to calm. "Look.... ok, ok.... what about me?"

"Well.. yeah. Like I said I could possess guys.. I prefer girls but... who doesn't?"

Adam goes offline for a moment, thinking about this. "Uh.... gay guysI guess?"

"Ok, so.... if I let you in, can I get you out if I need to?"

"Well. yeah, of course. Uhm.. and yes.. just tell me to get out. I did it when you wanted me away period. I can do it when I'm in your body. I mean, I'm not a creep"

"So... if I let you in... will that help you? Enough?"

"It should..heck I'll just ride along"

"Well.... ok."

And she seeps into him! It's a strange but not unpleasant sensation. He feels more confident. And some of his worries and insecurities dimmed.

"You ok?" Muttered.

In his head he hears Yeah it's a bit more sausage than lamb chops, but it works

"Ok......" with some misgivings, he gets up to get ready for the day.

Including a shower.

Okay, the shower feels really good today! He feels more alert, alive and the way it pounds against his skin is great!

If he ever considers singing in the shower, he's probably doing it now

Oh, sure. Doesn't everyone?

And dressed, he asks sotto voce "So.... what do you want to do?"

he sings and so on

"Sure. Ice cream?"

So Adam takes a drive for ice cream.

"Nab? ..... do Chimera and mortals ever......?"

When he tastes the ice cream it's.. delicious. ALl of his senses, at least in the best ways, seem heightened

"mmm ever ? Oh..well, sure, if the mortals are enchanted and everytrhing is ..compatible"

"Huh."

"This ice cream is really good." Pleased.

"That's me... I heighten the good sensations... food tastes better, touch feels nicer.. heck, the world smells better. "

A wistful sigh.

_"It has other advantages too... but some of them are SO stupid" _

"Like what?" Muttered but with real interest.

_Better! Ok. I guess.... well, if you were camping or something? Fire wpuld be good. Or for defense. _

"Mostly defense, it's chimerical flame and draining to make 'wyrd' .. here, let me show you a touch of it. Got that staff handy?"

"Uh. Yeah. You done with the ice cream?"

"Well not till it's fnished I'm not.."

But onece it's done, the head out to the staff. She doesnt' seem as impressed with this part of things

"Ok, so....?"

"Pick it up and I'll take care of the rest"

He picks up the staff.

It's a good staff, a fine staff...

and then it's ends light up with FIRE, fire that doesn't burn the wood, but sure seems to be putting out heat

"Hey, sometimes fighting -is- fun." With a grin. "I think it's cool, Nab."
