"Dirk? Where's Symon?" Anne Marie is much recovered now.

"Uh.. Symon? Symon uhm. .well. .ah.." Dirk scratches his head, "See.. hes ah... you know, studying."

"Studying? I've checked his usual hiding spots" Anne Marie says

"Not the air vent..." The redcap says

"Wait, he can fit in the... " Anne Marie says "I'll go check that. Didn't know about the air vent."

Dirk looks around, and ponders this. He has no idea where Symon is. If he's not in the air vent, Anne Marie is going to want someone to look for him. He'd rather do his own thing.

Dirk leaves while Anne Marie checks the airvent.

"MAOW" Odin tells Tove. He sits on her keyboard, right in the middle.

"Odin. I've fed you.. " She says "And I have work todo"

"MAOW."

"I am sorry. I'm not happy about it either.. it worries me" She fusses "But I have .." A sigh and she pets the cat

Mollified, somewhat, Odin accepts the petting.

"Such a tyrant." She strokes "I'm going to end up late on an upload because of you"

Headbutt!

"I know. I miss her too. "

"qqrrRrpt." Odin steps from the keyboard to Tove's bosom, balancing there with his furry side against her face.

"Ahem"

More pets for the pet. "You're a bigger snuggler than my husband at night."

He climbs around to perch on her shoulders. "Rrmph."

"Believe it or not" She strokes her new fur stole

"Dagmar will be all right. She's a heroine. I'm a skald. I know heroines"

Purr.

"I do worry too, but well... that just shows how easy it is to love her. When I first saw her I didn't know what to think..so angry , so battered, with cracks... but oh how strong she was. Just a little love and she pulled herself together and became so much stronger." A chuckle "Even if she does seem to want a zoo"

A tap at the door.

"Okay.. down you go" She sets the cat down

and goes to the door and opens it

Odin does follow - to supervise!

"Hi... uh, hi. Sorry to bother you, Mrs. King. Is ... Sam around?" Adam did not expect Tove to answer.

"I'm afraid Sam's out of town for a bit, Adam. Would you like to leave her a messag e or something?"

"Oh. No. Thank you. I texted.... I left a message. Thanks." He turns to go.

"Okay. I hope all is going well for you? Would you like a drink?"

"Naw, I'm good. Thanks."

He heads back to the street.

She lets him go.

Adam goes home.

As Adam goes home, a carriage pulled by golden horses travels through. Oh wait, that's a sports car.

Through the window he can see a mega hot firehaired sidhe babe he's never seen before.

Only a moment of attention......

She glances at him, perhaps she notices the glow, smiles, and drives/rides on.

Adam goes home, changes, and goes to work.

No doubt he'll never see her again.
