"Let me think about it. And I know you can take care of yourself. I just don't want you to get in trouble with somebody higher up. Look, I gotta go. Maybe catch you at lunch...but just leave him alone today." She starts off.

Dirk walks off grumbling

Sylvi stops and looks over her shoulder. "Hot chick, huh?"

"Gotta go to class. Is it all gone?"

Dirk looks over, "Huh?"

Lupita looks her face over, "yeah, it's good. Look. You want to do the make up thing again, let me know. We'll do it together and if ANYONE gives us shit, we'll smoke them like bad weed." A pause "not that I've done that, but fuck right?"

Sniff, tiny smile. "Yeah."

"C'mon - Chemistry."

Adam walks past the girl's room just then, as they exit, learning the halls.........

"Nothing!" Sylvi sing-songs cheerfully as she walks off to class, her perky ponytail swaying with each step.

The bathroom door swings open and Adam nearly catches it in the face

"Yeah let's go," Lupita says

Adam dodges.

She stops by her locker en-route, hoodie snagged. She and Lupita can claim seats in the back!

Looks like two girls nearly plowed Adam over, walked into a class... and took seats in the back ignoring him.

"OH! Adam! Hi... gotta... there's class... hi!" She waves.

Then Lupita turns. The short hispanic teenager is almost comical in size compared to the true vision of the troll next to her, but she's fit

Adam nods to the fit girl near Sam. Sup?

"Hey" a nod

"Adam's new in town. He plays basketball. Adam, Lupita."

"Hey." And that charming grin.

Lupita nods again

"Ok. Later, Sam." Adam slopes off to his next class with a smile to both girls.....

No sooner does the bell ring when the a PA system pops on and says ADAM THOMAS, to the Guidance Counselor's Office. Adam Thomas to the Guidance Counselor's Office

"Fffff........." Adam reports as ordered.

To class! Hoodie to hide in, bare-faced... at least Tove's twists are still in her hair.

"He seemed cute" Lupita admits as she and Sam settle.

Sylvi looks up from her seat in social studies and winces at the announcement.

At Social studies, Mr. Storm rolls from his wheel chair and smiles "Okay, role call... you know it, none of us are crazy about it, but the state says I got to do it"

Sylvi smiles gamely at the teacher-humor. Start off on his good side.

One kid laughs TOO Loud, and will be taunted for weeks as a brown nose. moderation is key

Sylvi watches several kids relax slightly. They weren't the first to be embarrassing.

"He's nice. Lives near me. Hope he makes the team."

(At Chemistry) Oh no, Ms Carver, her biology teacher from last year, teaches Chemistry too? It's almost like schools can be short staffed, "I see some familiar faces from last year, but not so familiar I'm going to skip role call"

"Good to see you too" She says answering more than one scowl, "Henry Addison?" She starts

(In socal studies) The role gets to Sylvi pretty fast, "Sylvia Davidson! Name rings a bell" he says looking for a hand up or to hear her response

"Here!" She raises her hand, bright all-American smile.

"Excellent," he calls on down "Frank Dunshire" /"here" /"Oliver Edgehart"/ A new student , not as cute as Adam but close with a retro skater boi kind of look holds up a finger... and so it goes. Sylvi knows she's been checked out. But then, every girl is being elvatuated, and better to be looked at too much by too many than to be a non person who never gets more than a second glance... at least in this world.

(Chemistry) "Samantha King" Role call continues. Whether Sam wishes she was getting looked at now or not is another matter

Sylvi glances around, making her own mental inventory of familiar and new faces.

Sylvi sees one girl she doesn't recognize huddled into a hoodie and.. more. She does manage to get a peek at the face, and blinks.

The girl seems to be the living embodiment of every 'plain jane who doesn't know she could be hot' hollywood or television has ever put out.

Her clothes don't fit her... she has no make up, and her hair is ..well, it needs help, but the cheekbones are gold! And at that skin is just smooth.
