"T-shirts?" Art asks, puzzled. "Oh! To speak of clothing, I must speak with the baroness. I have an idea about protective gear for this quest."

"I mean, probably gonna want to mask up, for sure..."

He taps his nose to show that she's on target.

"What is that piskey up to?"

He wonders if the library door is locked.

"Lord knows. Trouble."

"Marigold would have never admitted she needed help. But a fellow who needs to be taught, WELL."

"There is far more to proper hold governance than simply looking regal and making appearances." He admits. "I regret that I didn't realize it before."

Madern returns with T shirts, "here, take a look"

"So we paint the words 'Briar's Slayers' or 'Briar's Patch' or whatever she wants, and you guys wear them"

"Must we all?" He asks, a little plaintively. But he smiles. "It is a touch garish."

"Gwen asked if I could find some t shirts we could alter for the gang. This is important to Briar"

"Could truss it up with some mods. Cut down the neck, maybe do ladders up the sides..."

"Well, I guess there's nothing against personalizing it. I mean, I won't be wearing them. Touch of purple on the collar for our Beaumayn fellow here?"

"Ookay" Ernie shrugs, not bothered by that "Heck, Thistle. What would you do to them that Briar would still like? "

"Maybe reinforced leather or spikes on the shoulders? For Briar, at least. Gussy hers up so it's clear she's the ringleader."

"Give her arterial red, super bright. The rest of us, something rustier - little older, darker, less fresh-spilled.

"Huh, think you could tweak them that way?" Ernie asks "I mean, This is what i got."

"They're all black?" Squinty face.

"Thistle can do it." Certainty.

"Uhm.. yeah" Ernie says scratching the side of his face "it was a set? "

"They are in different sizes though"

"Could do a bleach treatment... "

"Like reverse tie-dye, basically. Ooo, I could totally put a skull on Briar's back!"

"While you work on that, I will seek the Baroness." A thought. "Ernie, has she visited or called for breakfast yet today?"

"She was sipping a drink by the fire" he says

"Can you get me a refill of whatever she had - tea, coffee? I'll take it to her."
