Aiden is counting down inside his head, or perhaps thinking of soothing ocean sounds.

"Perhaps, my Lady, your gifts?" Aiden says, in a carefully level and pleasant tone.

"It seems some remain but ... here, I hope this suits you both. " Nadeen has a box given both to Thistle AND Art. Both a bit heavy

"Thank you, Your Ladyship."

"Oh!" Art does have presents, too, but he was happy to let Thistle take the spotlight. Now he holds the box, so that Thistle can open it.

Rather, two boxes, he realizes.

"Most welcome. I Hope you like it" She says gently

He sets his down, and bows to Nadeen first, then starts to open it. Books, books, books... he whispers in his head!

He opens it to find a Shield?

He is surprised, clearly! But... maybe to his surprise, not disappointed. Carefully levering his hands in under the edge of the shield to lift it, unpracticed, the weight unfamiliar.

As for Thistle she opens hers and finds a most curious chimerical material, a large sample of some kind of lithomarge dark blues, deep puprle strikes and black

The Shield sprouts color as he touches it, the symbols on it forming as if awakening. A Silverwolf gazing at a constellation of stars above, Ursa Major

"Ooooh..... Thistle, look!"

It's magical all right. Reminds her a little of the mood clay the DeBukes had but..nah, this don't care how she's feeling. Rather it.. feels like night sky?

He holds up the business end of the shield for her to see!

It's not a huge shield, one could fence with it. Finely detailed though

"I'm afraid both are star themed in their way ,though I didn't know what constellation would form for the wolf on shield. Thistle, what you have is lithomarge Astra. I think that's what it's called. It naturally takes on the pattern of one or more prominent constellations at the time of it's crafting. If you do it by daylight you're going to get a lot of bright yellow no doubt, but if you do it at night? Well, depends on what's in the night sky." She shrugs "I am told it is also lightly phospherescent? Not bright mind you but glows in a dark room. I Hope you like it. I really couldn't think of what you'd like that you couldn't make better of with your own skill. So.. with that in mind, I got you material"

There are also two envelopes in the bottom of each box they opened

He lifts the envelop, curious.

Nadeen says "Feel free to open that if you like, tawdry really but I felt it best to hedge a tad"

He peeks in the envelope.

"That's furkin' baller."
