Marigold suggests, politely, "Maybe that one should be stored in the garage?"

"The furk? What, I got to move ALL my stuff underground?"

"No no, of course not! Maybe... just... NOT in a room with damask tablecloths!"

Wudlig grumbles "Fine fine..."

He steps back, thankfully, when she tears it open.

Here is Zelda's gift - well, it's not really a gift so much as a collaborative effort, but she's added the finishing touches on the flamethrower device that she and Thistle worked on! It does still need a proper Nockerish name, if she doesn't want to stick with the scrawled one in paint pen that says "FLAMMENFURKER MK 3"!

Perhaps less of a gift, and more of a completion on a joint project, but the arm mounted, customized flame-shooting device with storage bandolier does have a 'paid in full' invoice with it.

And at least one biohazard symbol.

Her eyes have a feral, happy glint.

"Huh, bit Flashy," Wudlig observes, "the safety seems a bit superfluous"

"no" Gwen differs "No it does not"

"Safety is never superfluous!" Marigold scolds!

A smile to her daughter!

"FURK yeah. We're gonna have to do trials."

Aiden clears his throat.

Nadeen motions to have her drink topped off at that

"I will have a field cleared for that purpose. AWAY from the Kennels and Stables." The Baron decides.

"I bet this could clear a field!"

"Speaking of which." Aiden stands, looking over both Thistle and Art.

"You both should have proper introductions into animal husbandry. Even if it is not a particular passion of yours, it teaches good values, hard work, discipline, and how to communicate with lesser beings, which is also an important factor of leadership."

Linnea tries hard not to facepalm at how very sidhe that sounded of him.

"I am inclined to give you each a personal mount. Unless, that is, your interests may lend more towards the raptors in Nadeen's purview."

A hand searches for the Glennie's head to pat.

Nadeen looks amused at that "I can handle the basics if need be blossom"

Muppet is there for that headpat with a wag.

"That terrier is caring for you more so than you for him." Aiden observes.

"Muppet has learned workshop protocals, my liege" Gwen speaks up in Thistle's defense there, "He knows how to fetch tools now too"

"He's not useless, nah."

A pause. "Are there... shorter.. horses?"

"Can't have the Death Pony" Dee says "That's Lizbet's"

"Also, a horse might be better tempered" Dee adds

Gwen arches a brow at her friend and whispers "Are you afraid of heights?"

"Be that as it may." His brow raises a bit. "You are a bit too old for a pony. Perhaps..." His nose wrinkles a touch. "A donkey, or mule, such as would be well trained for carting?"

"I'm not afraid of heights..."

Good thing there aren't Gwydion here!

...then again, one might not need to be a Falcon to suspect some ego-protecting subterfuge.

Art pipes up, "I think I'd like to work with a bird. If nothing else, it will let me learn more about the aerodynamics of flying..."

"Lovely" Nadeen says "My kestrel is actually a joy for me" And it's true, Nadeen rather enjoys the elegance of her bird of prey.

Aiden looks somewhat disappointed.

But, he sips at his drink, and motions for the party to continue.
