"Lovely, meanwhile other breeds are going to have an edge " A pause "Though, the glennies ... huh" Gwen ponders "Size categories?"

"Yes." Dee nods "Big and small divisions"

Gwen ponders this "We.. might have a chance and then some."

Briar is leaning against a wall and chewing on... something. It's probably best not to ask.

"What about pulling? Like, they do dog tests on that shit too, don't they?"

"Tug of war, grrrrrr.... or like, haulin' shit."

"Cart races are possible... and HEY, Briar, look at this" Gwen shows her partner in canine crime "Tracking Trial"

Glass nearby perks up at the word 'track'

"What, is that snotty guy from EarthRunes gonna come and say he got better nosedogs than Glass?" Conveniently forgetting that she came from those kennels.

"Not just him, we got some Lady who deals in standard Poodles who has a good chance of winning agility. AND claims as hunting dogs they'll be top. Poodles are smart, fae poodles all the more, but I really don't like the idea of some dog with a perfect coif and poof butt beating glass... "

"POODLES?!"

"I'd eat them if the fluff wouldn't get stuck in my teeth!" Disgusted.

"Poodles" She nods "Think Glass can out track em?"

"Poodle's ain't even trackin' dogs. They're, like, water dogs for gettin' birds you shot."

"They're just stupid retrievers with a haircut."

"That's what I was thinking" A smile , and she can see Briar's pride is invested now "I bet Glass could place high in tracking. I think she could take it. You ready to show those wimps , simps an snots that there's no escaping a REAL nose?"

Glass looks up at Briar, and stands ready for anything. Under those jowls, Briar knows her dog has the flashing fangs of a stone cold killer. Now if only she'd wag less dorkily

"Damn straight." She huffs.

"You want to handle her on the tracking course, or me or the baron?" Pretty sure it the redcap will demand she be the one

A scoff that it's even asked.

"Right.."

"Now, Ivan plays some serious Frisbee, not a breed speciality but the boy can rock it"

"I mean, the Baron doesn't approve, but ...I don't know what other dog we have that can do it"

Briar rolls her eyes. "It's too bad they don't have bear baiting any more."

"I mean, with a criminal or something that deserves it. I'm not THAT much of a monster."

"I'd pay to see bad guys get ripped up! Almost as good as rippin' myself. HEY! Can I plan a contest?!"

"I think a contest on ripping up criminals would be frowned on, even by the Unseelie houses"

Briar raises an eyebrow. "Innit the entire point of a wild hunt?"

"Oh" A blush "yeah okay. What's your idea?"

"Well, imagine a wild hunt..." BIG TOOTHY GRIN

"On?" she asks

"Blossom doesn't look busy." Her best attempt at innocence eye blinking.

A snerk but then she shakes her head, "You do know we're going to have NON Unseelie houses visiting? Maybe even Liams. Commoners, maybe other centuars?"

"Oh! Then we can take volunteers!"

"No, I'm saying we can't go hard core on this with the crowd we'll have"

"Part of this is for the guests, to make a good impression even on wimps and such. " She says

A grumble. "No one ever likes my ideas."

"I don't know about that," She ponders "I think... huh. you know, some dogs ARE meant for guardians... maybe a sport akin to that would work. "

"Schutzhund is a german shepherd thing, might incoprate some of that... but then it occurs to me... what if we had a dummy set up, shaped like a human but rigged realistically enough that it showed what damage could be done. You know, red dye packets at key areas... target zones. Where the dog bites on commands give points"

"I mean, if I tell Ivan to 'take someone down' he might leg pull. If I say 'kill' he's likely to go for the throat. Faehounds are even smarter. Power AND combat judgement might be tested with such training dummies"

A wince "The Baron may nix the frisbee event. He finds it declasse"

“Aw well, make him pull something or bite someone or something cool then. Better than chasing a plate that doesn’t even have steak in it.”

“STEEEAAAAAAAAKUMS!” She bellows, then takes a runner!

Barks and howls and ... a troll knight, abandoning all dignity and chasing Briar

"WHy you little..." She's missed this

She cackles and dives through a kennel dog door that is big enough for Mischa… And Briar… But not for Gwen! SHE has to stop and open the door!
