"Yeah, I heard they're not bad."

"You know there's gay penguins, right?"

he blinks "really? " then he ponders it "Well, they are very dapper dressers"

"Heh."

"did you know there's a zoo in the County? Billy's in charge"

"I - yeah? You been there yet?"

"Oh sure... they got ones you can pet, and feed, and feed if you pet."

"Sounds nice. You got a favorite?"

"Joe likes Lions, but me ? I prefer the Zebras"

"I can see that. Kid, you think you can help get Harvey here to somewhere safe?"

"Now that you got him out of the car, sure! close your eyes and count to 3 point something"

A brow, but she DOES close her eyes. "1.... 2..."

And then there's a horse where the boy was, well, a young horse. He shakes his mane and looks at the bird

"Oh! How does this always seem like a furkin' surprise?"

"Maybe Harv will do okay at Billy's?" She sets the bird on the horse's back.

then bird in the hair, the young equine seems to like the idea, and begins to ride off ...a trail of colorful feathers behind him and their temporarily guest

And some feathers to use for crafts perhaps. not bad.

Oh - Thistle certainly collects them!

She might not know their purpose yet, but odd materials most have special properties, she's sure of it!
