Because it bleeds rainbow... then about everything it is screams that. It is still a bird itself, and whomps inside the glass of the car

joe pulls at the door handle, but can't get it open "Help?"

She mutters something, and opens the door.

And out the bird flies, circles free, trailing all these wonderful colors...

and the chimera settles into Thistle's hair acting like a hat

She reaches out to touch the trail of color. "Huh..."

A few chimerical feathers come loose but new ones pop up

"I don't know how effective my hair is as a disguise."

"Hey, there it is! " Blossom says

trotting up "Hold still, the hawk almost had it earlier"

Blossom finds herself jingled at by Schiaparelli and Cerise.

"Why are you setting hawks after this?"

"Because the Nevers are off limits" A glare at them "Even though they should totally be fair game"

"Why should they be fair game?" She plants her hands on her hips.

"Because the fae hawks need practice and they're great targets.But okay fine... but that one I can get " She geestures to the colorful bird in the Nocker's hair

"If they just need practice, why not make targets?"

"Because they're hunters . They are food motivated.." She makes a motion towards the colorful bird and snaps fingers

the hawk swoops down

"Hey!"

She waves her arms to stop the diving hawk. That is her HEAD.

the hawk diverts and angles up

A swarm of angry christmas lights!

"He won't hurt you if you just hold still...heY!"

"That was my HEAD, you sociopathic na'ar!"

The hawk flies up and not allowed to attack the never outraces them

"It would have gotten JUST the bird on your head...." Blossom stamps her hoof

Joe says "Or maybe it would have made her bald!"

"Well, kookalaka here got away, so find a different target."

Blossom mmmphs "I'm telling the Baron you're trying to stunt my training as a huntress" And she trots off

kookalaka looks down with gratitude, and shines

She rolls her eyes.

"Yeah, you better figure out how to avoid hawks, birdie."

"You're a hero!" rochallor beams

and he claps. the nevers join in

Snort.

"I'm not. But damn, that horse girl is almost as bloodthirsty as Briar."

And kookalaka lets more feathers fall... one of each color to fall to her hands. images flicker on each...

Thistle catches them. "These are cool."

"Police, we're taking the place!" As a club that thought it was a haven finds itself heading towards a riot
