A look towards Marigold "Marigold, when you see Julius, please tell him we need to discuss emptying my bedroom here or another room to convert into a library. Arthur will be assisting us in getting a list of books that might serve us best in teaching fledges of all sorts. I imagine some books on craftsmanship as well as fae history Should be included. If I see Julius before you do, I'll inform him myself"

"Are we gonna get fledge lessons together?"

"Some together, some apart , depending on your interests. Would you prefer them together?"

"It would be slug-headed to ask some poor sucker to teach the same thing twice." Reasonably.

"I don't mind learning alongside Trina. She's smart, and has been helping me understand things here. If I can help her in return, that's only fair."

A nod "Well thought out then. Now, our other fledge, Blossom, is a child, so she will probably not be with you as much, but I don't think that's a problem for anyone. "

"Blossom is the centaur, right? How does she..."

Arthur looks puzzled. "Centaurs... amazing."

"But logistics!"

"It's as natural to her as a satyr's horns, a troll's extra mass, or a pooka's tail," She shrugs "And she is a proud little thing, eager to show what she can do. "

"Bluebell is a pooka." Confirming.

"As far as extra limbs, I suppose it's no more unusual than the occasional fae dreamt with wings..."

"Yes, wings" A nod

"That seems like fairy-tale shit for sure." A little smile as she glances at the Nevers - the ones who have slipped past Marigold's guard.

She can almost heard voices in their tinkling bell cries and laughs. paint! PAINT! The little silly has a spaghetti noodle and is dragging it, giggling, in a pattern across the countertop, leaving swirls of sauce...

Marigold is stirring her pot with her back to them for now.

"I'll get out my watercolors when we get home. You can paint to your hearts content."

"Odd, I don't recall THIS many nevers in the area" Nadeen observes

A muffled chuckle from the Steward - perhaps she was not, after all, ignorant of the goings on. Oh well. It's just a bit of sauce. Nothing compared to the table after Briar eats.

"Would you like me to protocal them to proper behavior, Marigold?" The Baroness offers

Arty raises a brow at the informality!

"This IS proper behavior for the little flitterwits. Just so long as Miss Katrina takes responsibility. They seem to be looking to her, after all."

"They seem to like bright colors. I think they like my hair."

"mmm very well" Nadeen allows

Julius stops in, and sniffs the air. "Is that Italian I smell?" Hopeful. "Should I get out a few bottles of a robust red for dinner?"

She peers at Julius, appraising.

Gears are quietly turning in the nocker fledge's head.

"I figured that was your plan, unless you intended to keep both?" Julius looks to Nadeen questioningly. "I mean, not that it matters, we have room enough for you to claim a half-dozen bedrooms if you really wanted to. I just need to know for organizational sake."

"I figured that was why you wanted the Chancellor's rooms cleared."

"Mmm.. I..." A pause

"Pardon. Former." He shakes his head. "No offense intended - just, habit of speech."

"Actually, the pause was because I made no such order," A brow

"Oh." The Satyr scratches his head. "I assumed you'd asked... you know, those are the closest to the Baron's, after all. And much more spacious then the guest quarters..."

A soft sigh from Marigold. "Bluebell was asking about bringing out fall decorations, and was burrowing around in the store rooms all day, in and out. I think she decided to put some things away. I should have known... I figured if anything, there would be the wrong Holiday decorated for in the morning. Never can guess what that sweetheart is thinking..."

"I really should have taken care of it myself. I just... couldn't find the time." Even without living with Gwydions, Nadeen can sense the fib there.

"She furkin' likes riddles, is what. Like... doesn't say anything if she can't tie a knot in it."

"Pooka are like that." Arthur nods, sagely.

Nadeen actually chuckles

"Ah."

"Don't get me wrong, she's not a jagoff. She's halfway decent, even."

"The rabbit maid? She was nice." Arthur nods.

"She's a maid?"

"Isn't she? But I meant, like... a fair maid, maiden."
