Lavender grabs the old goat

He bleats! "Wolves! Wolves!" And he shakes a leg... dancing, that is!

"How's your heart meds?" The Knave grins

Meanwhile the sluagh are edging for the door.

Billy grins at her. "I'm just a dirty old goat, you think you can keep up with me, kiddo?"

Nadeen ballets near the sluagh, "Thank you for coming" She whispers but loud enoguhfor them to hear "I know you don' believe it, but I am glad I met you both. "

Lizbet whispers to Nadeen, "You are nicer than I expected. But it is restless here. I was not prepared for that sort of party." Elias rests a hand on her arm, whispering to the girl, and she falls silent. They both bow to her - the niece only a fraction of a second later. "Perhaps we shall meet again." He whispers.

Gwen dances near Dru "Having fun?"

Dru happily dances with different partners, her hips brushing against Gwen's. "Oh yes! This is a meat holiday. You are very handsome, you look like a glome." She touches green-tinted fingertips against the troll's stone skin.

The Joker makes his way to the Queen of Hearts, and bows low. "I may only be fit to dance with the hounds, but if my lady would oblige?"

The Carnival Queen calls down, increasingly tipsy. "DANSH WITH THE DOG FELLER. Make.. make him jingle!"

"Oh, you are fun!" Dru makes her way over to the Queen to give her a kiss and take her hands in a dance.

"Oh, I can't dance! I'm..." Alice stops for a moment. She's what? Too old? Married? Whatever arguement she had fades away as she lets the plant lady lead her off the dias. "I'm not a good dancer. I think? But, I used to go sometimes with my girlfriendsh. Whatever happened to Amy.. Terilyn... Fran?" A hiccup, and she wobbles a bit. "It's like Prom, only you're not as "handsy" as my boyfriend."

"You must be very unsteady without deep roots. Come, I will help you. I learned how to do this."

"R-roots are very important. A good name, a good family, you gotta be someone who knows people to make it in this town, otherwise you're one of the nobodies, you know?" A giggly laugh. "It sounds so SILLY when I say it. What hogwash!"

"Not that YOUR roots aren't very nice."

"They are, aren't they?"

Gwen moves to the young sheep pooka, "You know how to electric slide?"

Alice lifts her skirts a touch, extending a leg. Only a bit thickened with age, and still toned! Oh and, "These aren't MY shoes. But aren't they PRETTY?" And high-heels that accentuate it all! "Pretty shoes will make any female feel like a real lady."

Nadeen has grabbed Aiden's hands and slipped into them

Now that he has been told to do so, he spins the Queen of Hearts across the dance floor, twirling her before pulling her close and whispering, "I knew it... there were signs of a glade, but it was just on the outskirts of another's territory... I feared to draw their attention if I sought it - HER, out! And to think, she is here!" He marvels, and yet, his eyes are on Nadeen.

"You are nice, you should have good things that grow. That will make you happy. It is good to have comfort. And pretty.. shoes?" She considers, and a tendril of vine climbs down her leg to encase her feet in pretty leaf slippers.

"Now THAT is a handy trick. Can you teach me to do it? I broke a heel once and had to walk home in my stockings! But if I borrowed yours, would they wilt by morning?"

Nadeen swways with Aiden, and does not mind where his hands go too much indeed.. she might encourage "And you didnn't tell me? You fink" Delight

"They might, I do not know!" She takes a flower from her dress and places it in the queen's hair, where it grows and entwines with her crown. "There!"

Shaun retreated shyly, into the kitchen as Gwen approached... but Bluebell rescues her and gives her a spin!

A heated argument has picked up, but there seems to be no real rancor, as Zelda slams her flamingomallet into the floor and scoffs, "Yes, but self-shoeing horse-shoes would be a time saver, and you'd still have to PROVIDE them! It wouldn't take away your work at all! You could charge DOUBLE!" Adler refills both of the Nocker Lady's plates.

"Oh, oh!" The Queen is delighted as the blossoms bloom on her temples. "Now I feel like a PROPER Fairy Queen!"

"It is a fairy holiday!"

A CRASH! And BLEAT! And a SHRIEK! It is well and good that the sluagh had left, or they would be fleeing now. From the Kitchen, such sounds!

Marigold has scanned the room in an instant, and calls in a worried voice, "Briar? Shaun? Oh, DEAR." Trying to thread her way through the crowd.

Aiden was distracted by his dance with Nadeen. "What is it?"

As the sound of loud yelling - Ah, that's Briar, whatever else is wrong, her LUNGS are fine, echoes out.

"ARRRGHHHHHHH! YOU LITTLE SHEEPSHIT BULL-PUCKY, AGH ARGH!" More clattering, and now a crystalline sounding shatterglass.

"Pardon me your majesty I need to dance over there" And Gwen moves that way

Record-scratch, Julius confused, unsure if he should play on, ala the band on the Titanic!

The large Redcap is looming towards that doorway. "What's this then, uh? Trouble inna kitchen?" A wide grin, unnerving, mouth with too much teeth in it.

"Oh, unpleasant... " A sour look.

Lavender was dancing with Billy and still is but oh dear

Marigold makes her way over and ducks in, then pokes her head out. "Someone with Armor, please??"

Ad that's Gwen's cue... "I am the armor" In she goes

Pans and platters are scattered about, that was the majority of the clatter. But the noise NOW is coming from Briar, who is on the floor, eyes squinted shut and howling, and lashing and snapping at everything around her. She catches hold of a kitchen stool and bites through the wooden leg with a SNAP!

"Get over here you lampchop!"

Huddled up ON TOP of the counter, behind tipped crockery, is a little black lamb, his head hidden behind a jar. Trembling, They cannot find me if I cannot see them!

Gwen puts a hand on Briar "Stop. We can't hurt him. " A Whisper "Please don't ruin carnival. The baron needs us"

"WHO'S THAT?" She spins around, eyes squinted shut! A smell - something spicy and vinegary... ah, a empty bottle of Insanity Pepper Juice, a drop of which Marigold adds to an entire batch of Bloody Marys.... it rolls across the floor, leaving a dribble behind it.

"It's me.. Gwen. hee, let me get your eyes tended to"

"HOR HOR HOR." Barrel-belly laughter from the doorway. "She got a rabid wolverine inna kitchen and is tryna talk it down off of lambchop supper!" Kilroy has opened the door and is LAUGHING at the sight.

It seemed 50/50 for a moment there if Gwen was gonna get bitten, but Briar is starting to let sense percolate through, when she hears the laughter. And she yells, "GET OUT OF HERE! FUCK YOU, old man!" Glaring blearily around, and now her face is streaming. "Fuckin - MAKIN my EYES bleed."

Lavender says "MMm YUM, the last rib..." trying to draw the older redcap out

The door is dropped shut. "It waren't a wolverine after all, just a little spitty pissy kitten cat."

Gwen helps rinse out the eyes of the younger redcap, remembering instructions given by first aid ..and Marigold

Marigold calls over instructions, as she carries the trembling Lambkin to the pantry. "Now you go in there and change, I won't look, mind you."

To Gwen, "FLush them out good, it will sting, but she'll be okay."
