"Heeeeeeeeeeey KIDS!" A bleat of welcome at the door, as Mister Billy, the Billy Goat Grump from the nearby zoo, knocks and heads in. "So what's all this Carnivore hububble about? I never heard of it!" His goatish ears twitching.

A small sheepish childling follows after him, practically buried in a mask three times the size of his head.

"Hello!" She greets the goat and sheep. "There is chocolate, you should try some!"

"Mister Billy. That shrubbery is talking to me." The boy says solemnly, peering around his leg.

"Welcome, please... " the Queen says to the goat and sheep pooka, "A carnival night and carnival delights!"

"Carnivore night for Carnal delights? Lady, there are CHILDREN present!" Billy covers his own ears, but leans forward and says, "Tell me more!"

The green-clad woman is happily sampling all of the food. "Delights sound fun."

Gwen is trying something else... musing "Your majesty" to the Carnival Queen "Do you draw?"

A lifted lip and growl from the bulky redcap Kilroy as she wanders closer. "Shove off. S'mine."

She laughs. "Oh, but there is plenty!"

Queen Alice looks up from where she was talking to Black Jack, and gives Gwen a grateful look. Apparently she wasn't sure how to exit the flirtation she has become embroiled in. "Draw? Oh, just in art class. Mostly I practice. I was on cheer squad, you know, and if I don't keep stretchy then I'll never make it to state figureskating."

"I'll eat you if you get in my way, walking broccoli." Kilroy grunts.

"Walking broccoli!" Briar cackles, parrotting the older redcap.

Nadeen smiles to Billy "Food and music, sir.. the boy will be fine" A smile

Then Nadeen's eyes narrow "Pardon me," to the goat and she turns to the older redcap "Harm is forbiden here, sir"

She raises her chin, haughty. "You are smaller than an acorn, and more naive. You are ugly, and do not please me."

"T'kithain." He says to the Sidhe. "Is that a moldy boggan, issat?"

He leans in and SNIFFS at the plant lady. "I know boggan, and she don't SMELL like boggan meat."

"She is , I suspect, a Kubera... one of the Slow Empires, she is also a guest" Nadeen says

"Oh, you are nice to look at, and clearly educated."

The redcap ponders this a moment, and scowls, belatedly, at the Kubera. "You saying something about my nuts? Issat an insult, is it?"

Briar is THRILLED.

Gwen says "Hey, let's gget the queen something to draw with" And grabs the piskie's arm

And whispers Black Jack "Hey, could you return that please? "

Nadeen says "I'm a Varich, we remember the old ties. An honor, Nadeen Dancingsnow"

Black Jack, about to head back to the drinks, looks at the hand on his arm. "You're a bit young for me, rock candy." And then smoothly. "What would 'that' be?" A stunning smile to Gwen "Name it, and it's yours! Call it a Carnival game"

She seems to not hear the redcap. "Oh, names, yes! I have had those..."

"Dru. I was Dru before. Hello, NadeenDancingSnow."

Shaun the lambling, creeping closer towards the sandwiches, whispers in a voice worthy of any Eeyore, "Oh no, don't enc-courage them. They'll want to fight, and knock over all the puddings." He says to Briar.

"Shaddup, I wanna see a fight!" She responds!

Gwen admits, the guy's gorgeous, and she blushes, she whispers "Well, no harm is allowed, but you COULD be stirpped to your shorts by the thanes and not in a fun way. Is that the name?"

"Hello, Dru" Nadeen says

"Would you show me about this celebration? I heard it would happen, and I was curious."

Oh, he turns his attention on Gwen in full. He's no sidhe, nor satyr, but he's sexy and he knows it. "And here I thought that the party was dullsville. Let's make it interesting. Three guesses? Ask nicely and I'll throw in a kiss, Crystal. And tell you what. If you lose, you can still take it back... if you get it from my pocket yourself." His tight leather pants boast the only pockets she can see.

A blush brighter Gwen glances back to the Queen to see if anything obvious is missing, say. .a wedding ring?

Ah yes, there is a paler band on one finger where a ring would sit. She sips at her drink, tipsy and giggling at the antics of the funny Goat man, who is now tossing petit fours in the air and catching them... mostly... but eating all of them anyways.

Gwen looks back and whispers "You took a ring."

Nadeen grab's Dru's arm "Delighted... this hold is known for it's fine horses, hounnds and hawks..."

As if on que, Aiden finds himself with a dog in a queen outfit dancing about him like an overly ardent admier

Shaun looks up. "Dogs? I like dogs. They keep the w-wolves away." And then he claps a hand over his mouth. As though saying the word would summon them!

Aiden looks surprised, and then... he bows deep to the dog. "May I have this dance, my canine queen?"

"Oh, look!" She laughs at the dancing dog.

"Wuff" goes Pyschka

"Oh, the wolves are VERY silly. They ae themselves SO seriously." She makes a grumpy face. "Rar. Me Serious Wolf."

"I could not sleep, for all their huffing and puffing and noisy magic and quarrelling!"

Aiden circles the dog - she is growing, and now is amost up to his thighs! And proceeds to dance with her - a mincing waltz, it turns he is quite skilled, and the dog follows along stunningly, as though she knows the steps as well!

The Queen claps enthusiastically! "More dancing! Everyone, dance!" She has finished her cup and is looking for a refill.

Black Jack pouts at Gwen and hands her the ring. "If you still want to explore that pocket, you know where to find me."

"Dancing!" She claps, and sets her luscious hips a-wiggle.

Aiden seeks and finds Nadeen in the crowd, and a nod her way... as he finishes the dance with the dog, he moves towards her.

Danica taps her spear on the ground. "The Queen has requested dancing! Who would dance with our Regent?"

"Thanks" Gwen says blushing furiously. The order to dance and she moves away from the piskie

But she does start a clumsy electric slide

The Queen comments to herself, "That Rocking Horse almost looks like my Journalism teacher."

Annd the queen of heart begins to ballet!

Dru shimmies and twists, exuding a glow of contentment in simple pleasures - of moving her body, of the music, of the varied bodies around her to see and delight in!

Julius appears from.. somewhere! His hair is mussed, his mask hanging off one horn, and his shirt half unbuttoned. But he takes up a space, and starts playing music with a beat!

Bluebell, a smile that boasts the same color lipstick as the Satyr's collar, joins Gwen and Nadeen on the floor! None of them are dancing the same STYLE, but... they are having FUN!

The Queen CLAPS! "Shimmy and shake! Wooo!"
