"WE rescued him" She nods "But yeah. Geez, that mirror world or whatever.. the sideways? that was wild huh?"

As they approach the Silverwolf hold

they might see a pumpkin carriage in the distance

"Totally. Hey, Darkgate!"

"Should we race to wave them down?"

"Can you keep your baron steady at a gallop?"

"Yes. Snowthorn's pure discipline" She says "knows his rider" A nod "Don't you , Snowthorn?"

The steed bobs his head.

"Tthen let's go..." She rides to try to get seen

Star is encouraged to keep pace!

Sttar is faster than Snowthorn...

the pumpkin carriage is faster still but they angle it off, and .. it slows, Someone say them and they are pulling over

Star seems tempted to race the carraige... but perhaps another day.

the door swings open, and a woman comes out, "How hurt is he?" tanya ... the teenage girl looks far more the mortal than the sidhe... but yes, it is Nadeen

"Nadeen!" Concern! "We got him, he's sleeping but... he.. but.. Nadeen, let me..." SHe reaches to touch the Varich's cheek.

tthe Varich says "No save it for Aiden I..." Not that she can stop the troll "I brought him a cookie"

The baron stirs, just a slight motion from where he is held securely on Snowthorn's back.

Nadeen says "Aiden.. "Fumbling for the healing cookie she moves to him unless stopped

Though his clothes are ripped and torn, stained with blood and a rusty spot on his shirt that burned through his voile in the shape of a horseshoe... the man and sidhe are both intact.

Dagmar DOES pass a glamour with the touch. "The werwolves healed him - he might not need the cookie..."

"He probably eneds the glamour more" She says, now more the sidhe than the girl again "but I will try it anyway. Thank you, Dagmar, thank you, D'Lorean." She moves to him and waves the cookie under Aiden's nose "Aiden, don't be stubborn, eat a bit"

a note of concern and command mixed

D'Lorean looks confused a the thanks "he's my baron, of course I would help him"

Dag... quietly shrinks back a little, retreating without moving.

Yup. the satyr is doubly confused. But she helps the baron to to the cookie and vice versa, while saying "Dame Dagmar was amazing. She fought this ... I don't use the world Unholy lightly, but this gross unholy thing! Side by side with the garou"

At the gentle shaking and prodding, he stirs to a confused awakening. And finds a cookie in his mouth. "Mmmph?"

It does help. The healing of the wolves is one thing, but this restores his glamour and brightens the sidhe within.

"Chew slowly" the varich advises, then looks at Dagmar "Dagmar.. I'm sorry. I didn't think, were you hurt as well?"

"No, I'm... no, I didn't get injured."

Swallowing, to clear his throat. "Nadeen? And...." Seeing Dagmar, and Delorean, and the carriage. The stamp and snort of the horses. A hand reaches to his neck, and his eyes dart around worriedly. "The pack... but... how?!"

"Not injured in a fight against something garou face" Nadeen smiles "amazing. " then she turns back to the Baron "Aiden.. the others can tell you more, but the pack was tricked by some monster and you were held captive. Your knight here" A nod to the satyress "Asked for Dame Dagmar's aid. They rescueed you. I.. I am sorry I could not do more fromw here I was.. I think the horse shoe came off"

"A Fomorian horror had enchanted them, convinced them you were a traitor. But the spell was broken when we got at the... web-thing..."

His expression looks pained. "You should not have come... " a deep breath. "No treaty is worth risking your lives, even this one."

"The treaty is good - they healed you, and said you don't need to pay..uh... chiminige? Tribute, no tribute for three years. The least they owed, I say."

"Don't be foolish!" Nadeen says at this talk, flaring with beauty ired "They know the right of rescue. And you are worth EVERY effort"

D'Lorean says "Also, Gwen was this close to going after you herself. I figured between her or me, it better be me. So respectffullly disagree, Baron"

then the satyr adds "And Dame Dagmar is righ. Treaty is solid... and in fact you may have come out on top of it"

He straightens up, slowly making sense of things. "Delorean... Thank you. And you, Dame Dagmar... it is known that falcons bear no love for the dragon. Even for the Escheat- to go literally into the wolves jaws." He shakes his head slowly, in wonder. "I am in your debt."

Snow continues to fall, a light blanket, soft flakes that land on cheeks and manes. Above, the Yule star shines bright.

"I'm glad you are alright, Baron."

"Dame Calanthe isnot happy with me" D'Lorean says

"Nadeen?" He asks, reaching for her hand. "When all felt lost, I thought... I felt something, in the dance of the falling snow. And my bindings fell away."

Grunt.

To D'Lorean - "Is she not?" A frown. "She should not have sent you after me, even with Dame Dagmar's aid. The risk was too great."

"The fair fortune worked" Nadeen says relieved "I cast it through the tattletale. it barely worked but.. work it did" She takes his hand back

and squeezes

He returns the gesture, his hand cold in her own, ungloved.
