"A moment, Dame." Marigold insists on a warm thermos for Dame Dagmar, and a mash of oats and carrots, cooked by her own hand, for Star before she will let the Troll leave. And she is a FORCE to be reckoned with.

"Please, call me Lavender" But another nod . the bell wrung. the baron shivered. Only she and Dagmar know what that means

Nadeen is fussing over the chill of the Baron, and stays close

Dag won't argue with Kerri, and Marigold is no different. "Thanks"

Star certainly doesn't argue!

Gwen grunts and nods (Hearths. What can ya do?)

"Is that a tattoo? BITCHIN!" Briar makes herself known.

"Um, it's more a scar.."

"Scars are even BETTER." The Redcap nods with a toothy grin. "Tattoos just mean yer patient. Scars mean you fought and WON."

"Well, survived. And anything you survive, I call winning."

Gwen nods to Dagmar "You helped save the baron? I.. we owe you. Thanks"

Blush-shrug.

Wrapped up by the fire, the Baron gives up trying to resist the fussing, and has a warm mug and a blanket - as well as a Baroness at his side.

D'Lorean keeps the bell close. Then says to Dagmar "Want me to walk you and your horse a bit with my own?"

"Hurry on home, now. And D'Lorean, hurry back." Says Danica, as she stroke's Star's mane.

"It's Christmas eve, after all." Adds Linnea. A ring of silver sleigh bells has been added to Dagmar's horse's tack. "Yule star guide you to your home lodge."

Both Thanes bow to Dame Dagmar.

"Thank you. Happy holidays, everyone."

D'Lorean grins "Twas the Knights before Christmas?" You can almost imagine the silent K

Greetings and wishes follow them, and then the Knights are alone but for the snow and the bright full moon, and the Yule star shining above.

And D'Lorean says as she and Dagmar go on "Julius told me Calanthe is using her magic to hold the Baron together. I'm .. I'm not so sure. What if it it's holding him in stasis in stead? He can't heal because it's not allowed to be real? I don't know... but it could be Calanthe having what power she can over her brother in alw, or .. she might be trying to do right, but making it worse. And..." She looks unsure what else to say "Dagmar. If he's not allowed to go through the grieving process fully. What if that's what keeps him from accepting your squire?"

A deep frown. "That... I don't know."

"I don't either. Knight I maybe, but this is over my.. expertise. I'm not supposed to tell you all this, but you fought to save him, and that means something damn it" Lavender Dee Lorean says

"Do you think Nadeen should know?"

"Nadeen is much better at magic..."

"Yes.. she's on the up and up? "

"She is."

"Good. Then.. maybe it's time to let her know. You want to tell her or shall I ? She'd trust you more I think"

"Give them tonight, it has been a hard few days."

"Right Right" She says , worry, impatience, then a grin "Fuck, but were ravens are cool!"

And the talk turns to just how awesome i is they know were ravens are in the world, before the two girls must part. Dagmar to get a lift from Gerd for her and her horse... and Lavender DeLorean to head back to her own home hold.

It was an adventure...with a wereraven!
