"Well, notice he broke his name up to do it" He points out "Just get teased a little. You know how it is, trolls are big safe targets for the pooka. Got one around here who cals my name like a pig calling contest"

She frowns. "That's mean."

"Some pooka are. " he admits "Not all though I do have friends" A nod "I try to focus on them. Friends make a troll feel like he's gathered some good in his life. I can be over protective of them" Stanly sighs

Dagmar smiles. "Yeah. Friends are good. Family, too."

A nod at that ("Darn straight')

Soon, Stanly is hearing all about Jaymes and Tove and CJ - and the animals, who are just as much a part of the family.

Stanly is suitably impressed, the conversation continues as he shows her other parts of the hold. He confesses to having just one pet, a maltipoo named Queenie

"Oh, can I meet her?"

He's delighted "Sure. She's SO smart.. she does tricks, and can dance" oh well, that apparently kills troll stoicism

"Awesome! I'm sure she's the best girl."

"She really is, fits right in the palm of my hand so loving, and tries to lick my face if i make raspberries' 😛

"Aww."

"I live near here, mortal place. Beats the barracks for the thanes"

"This place is amazing, but it could be easy to slip out of balance living in a hold full time."

"Exactly, so most of us have residences elsewhere"

"Makes sense."

Soon, Dagmar is out of the hold, and Queenie dances for her in a small apartment safe for the head room

Of course, Stanly's selkie friend who has had a crush on Stanly for over a month, may get irked until she learns dagmar is NOT trying to steal him way

"HEeeeY" Stanley," A voice says "I helped myself in"

Even as Dagmar is looking over the paphmlet from the volunteer shelter Stanly helps on weekends

"Hello?" Queenie is on her lap, being shown said pamphlet.

"Hi..." She's a pretty girl, sleek and attractive, liquid eyes and webbed fingers and... a confused look "uhm.. Hello"

Queenie perks up, and wags. All signs she's seen the selkie before

"Hi! Okay Queenie." She sets the dog on the floor so she can go greet the selkie, and then she stands and offers a hand. "Sorry to surprise you. Stanly brought me to meet the dog."

"Oh oh..." She puts down a small bag "I ... found a great sale on some old Xbox games and he's got that old set so I ..." She blushes and offers her hand "I'm Celia, and yes that be used as a pun. " Queenie bounds at Celia's leg

"Dagmar, hi. I'm visiting the city, and I met Stanly today at the freehold." She takes the offered hand.

the webbed hand is dwarfed by the blue one, "Oh, just today. So you two aren't.. I mean. I'm not interupting a date am I?"

the selkie says "Because I'd be happy for him" Lie " And go"

WIDE eyes! "What? Shit, what? No!"

"Not a date!"

A look of relief she can't hide then "Oh, just a friend" She's now petting Queenie "Sorry, Stanly's not the most social guys so you surprised me .. oh my god" She steps back "Your the heroine of the Shore"

"Uh."

"I helped out yesterday, yeah."

"You saved my .. I mean, you saved Stanley" She says

A flush...

"Oh, that's where he is" She observes, then looks to Quenie "Don't go in their queenie, it may not be safe for a half hour"

Queenie wags

"It was a big fight. All hands."

"I heard, but weren't you the knight who froze it?" She asks

She nods. "I, well... you ever Unleash? The magic really takes charge."

"Never had the guts" she says "I hear if it goes wrong it can really turn on you"

"Probably. But it was a do or die situation, wasn't it? It was going to swallow me either way."

"True but wow" She says "We're all grateful"

FOotsteps and Stanly comes out "You may not want to go in there for a bi.. .oh hey, Celia"

Dagmar's brow quirks a little as she looks between the two.

"Hi yourself. I found some old X Box games for that clunker you won't upgrade. It was a bargain, thought I'd drop it by, but then I met Dagmar. You're SOCIALIZIZNG Stanly. I'm stunned"

Stanly blushes "Just being polite"
