Polly whirls the mic (not the cat thank goodness) "Thank you thank you all so much for making me feel welcome" She chats the audiance up a bit, allowing the girls a chance to talk quietly

Sniff SNIFF, damn, those tiny little bar napkins are worthless to dab at your face with. "I'm okay! Really! I'm just... wow. That was a lot, you know?"

"I... sure? Are you okay? I didn't think it was a sad song."

She nods. "I just... I think I understand now. Dagmar, I can't talk to him. It wouldn't be fair. But... knowing he's out here? And so fabulous? That... it's enough, you know?"

A slow moment.

Realization.

The show resumes with parody of 9 to 5, which starts out the same, but slowly transforms into a plan to take out the boss first in plans that sound like Wiley E Coyote was trying to take out the road runner with an office printer. A third song . Is of course "I will always love you'' only this version is I will always love you.. but I'm open to better offers just so you know'

She watches the rest of the show, taking it in, reveling in the sound of Mickey's voice. It's a different skill, to mimic rather than sing in one's own natural tones, but no less impressive or talented. In some ways, more!

Dagmar spends more of her attention on Piper than the show, a little furrow of concern denting her forehead.

THere's a ten minute break, and out comes Elvis..er Pelvis... no more dolly voice, and the drawl and sneer are again dead on. More tweakeed songs as funny as the first. Folks have their favorites, Pelvis or Polly, but both are amazing

Gently. "He'll probably have time after the show."

"I might.. say hi. Just as an admirer." She allows.

"I think you should say hi, yeah."

"I'm sorry." Keeping voices down to not interrupt the show, "It must be a big downer after I hyped it up so much... I don't mean to disappoint you."

"Or make you think I dragged you all the way here for... for nothing, you know?

She shakes her head. "Not disappointing me. It isn't nothing."

"I just want you to do what feels right. And maybe not avoid something because it's scary."

She nods! "After the show, I'll see if h- she has a few minutes free."

"Okay. And I can be right there, yeah?"

There's a surprise visit from Cher ...er SHARE who tells folks she's not singing tonight but she'll be here for tomorrow's show. "Remember, " her voice dead on for the pop rock icon "Love yourselves and be lovable to yourself as best you can, and chase your dreams even if you fall on your face. Like I ALWAYS Say- Until you're ready to look foolish, you'll never have the possibility of being great. ”

yes, another costume change JUST to get folks to come back tomorrow

and as folks are left wanting more, Share trots off triumphant

"You ready?" Still gentle, but encouraging.

Folks now listen to the regular band, which isn't bad, and enjoy their drinks and snacks, but many are going home. the show being over

She finishes her drink, vaguely wishing it had been something stronger, and nods.

"Yeah, let's see if they're letting fans backstage..."

A pat on the shoulder, carefully balanced between being reassuring and not-too-hard.

And they move up. The kinain, enchanted, sees they are kithain, he grins "Ah, can i help you?" He is clearly the door man toback stage

"We'd like to see Mickey? Big fan. Please?"

Nod Nod.

"Sec I'll see if he's open to it, be a moment" HE darts in to talk

Fidget!

And he comes out "Sure, he'll see you" a gesture 'Go on in"

At one point she turns - but no, Dagmar is there, blocking the way. She wasn't going to LEAVE, no...

Thumbs-up for Piper, double-barrelled!

"Oh! Thanks!" Perky, and she steps in!

A middle aged grump his wiping his face. HIs wispy hair thinning looks like feathers, and he looks over "They sent you in for my 9 O clock ego boost? Thank god. I was going through withdrawl" He smiles. It's a warm smile

Dagmar lifts a hand in greeting. "Hey."

"You were really good. You sounded amazing, and you were funny." Ah, trolls.

Gwydion troll, at that.

Piper smiles, and starts, "You have an amazing voice. Real talent."

"Oh don't hemhaw, young ladies, tell me what you thought of the show" But he grins and offers a hand to each "Well, the voice is a bit of a cheat but I consider it nature giving me a freebie for my eventual baldness. I'm called..so manythings, not all of them nice, but Micky is on my phonebill. And you two are?"

"I'm Sam... Dagmar... Sam?"
