"Yes. I got her home. She's probably going to be in trouble with her parents for going to a party like that"

"But alive." He points out as they get into his Prius.

"Yes.. sir. I don't want to go home if you're going to check this out. you shouldn't be alone either"

August shakes his head from side to side, then pauses before starting the car and pulling away. "Yes. Alright. We'll go together."

"Thanks" A nod

August takes them to the store.

Looks like there's a guy who is guarding a door counting money, when he sees them, he says "Hey, twenty bucks to get in "

Meanwhile, looks like others are leaving

August might have waited in the car till the space was empty, but as they have been noticed, he approaches and pays the $40 for entry.

He takes it "Enjoy"

"Sorry about that" The boggan says as they go in "I just thought if we hurried we might get there in time"

"No, that's fine Tylar. You know more about this situation than I do." It must be said this is NOT August's scene; he does rather stick out.

Mortal girls stumble against each other, drunk and flirting with anything male even as a third girl, the Designated driver, watches over them to get them out "Come on, Mindy, Layla, he's not that cut"

And they make their way past others...

August nods for Tylar to lead them.

And down the basement they go... three tables..

each meant to look like altars.. have scratches of runes

and blood stains.

August frowns, seeks a lightswitch; something to illuminate the atmospheric darkness.

"The one I killed is gone" The Squire curses "Darn it. Someone came back"

"Perhaps they awoke, their mortal self, and departed?"

"That quick? Doesn't seem likely sir, but... maybe they have a fourth ? I don't know"

"It would be.... very quick, yes." A frown.

"Magnus could tell us what happened here....." August paces around the edge of the room, not touching anything. "Could you call him please?"

"Yes sir."

Meanwhile, August gets a look at those runes. It's a sacrifice all right. Old school. Meant to bring in darker glamour

And the squire blushes 'he's on his way"

"Hm? Problem?" From where he is examining the runes.

"I think I just intruded on ah maritial bliss"

"Oh." And pinks a bit himself. "My apologies."

"What do you think?" He indicates the runes.

"I think this is beyond my knoweldge.. there's..signs of linking and parting.. mostly celtic, but some of it is ..well, Hollywood Satanic? "

August nods. "And depending on the bunk and Da'an... that might work." A frown. "If the bunk was ritual sacrifice... that's a lot of mojo.

"Yes sir.. and I think the gift of pan was going. Wouldn't that lower bananlity even more?"

August exhales, the curl on his forehead moving. "Yes. It would. And they were here in EarthRunes?"

August takes a moment to text something off. "This is deeply disturbing. Thank you, Squire, for your actions tonight."

"They were near it... I.. you're welcome, Lord. It's what we Liams do" A smile

"This better be good" Magnus comes in looking a bit cranky

"You made good time." August approves. "And thank you for coming. It is important." And he explains the situation.

"Right... out of the way, let me review"

August backs away.

Mangus pulls out some shades, puts them on, "Looks like some was going to do a blood sacrifice... a subject of MASS disapproval..." They he goes "Yeaaaaaah" As his bunk draws on the power of Memes that outlived a show

And a few cantrips later.. "Holy shit this could have gone badly. This was a recruiting 'make your bones' situation" Magnus explains "But more than that. The dark glamour would have meant Samhain favored certain unsavory forces this year. "

August looks grave indeed. "I've given Coradel notice about the matter, but not details. Magnus, can they regroup and try again, do you think?"

"These were pledges. The real group was watching them.. and I dare say are obsrving us now. A slaugh stole the body of the third one that Tylar killed."

"Then we need to go after the true instigators. Can you help direct us?"

"I doubt it very much. Said sluagh fliciker flashed."

"Damn it." uncharacteristically, August curses.

Tylar looks dour

"Sorry, if I coudl I would, but I think we'll see those kids again. They just 'failed' . They're one shot at redemption is going to be to 'avenge' themsseles. I fear Adam, Minvera, and you Tylar have all made enemies"
