"Tell you what, if it's not we'll just bail. Say the word, ok? We'll head back or... or maybe find a place to eat. Drive thru if you want, or whatever."

"Please, we're gonna see this through. You know how long it's been since I've seen a movie on the BIG screen?"

"At least 6 months? I mean, me too."

A sigh. "Been a long six months."

"I know.. I miss crowds, and movies, and.. everything you know? I love the fact changelings and kinian can still interact but damn. "

"Yeah. My b-ball team is done, school is starting soon, I guess but I'm here. And I'm ok with that! I like it at EarthRunes, I -love- it! I just.... nah, it's ok."

"There was this great party that Zane used to organize. He can't anymore, of course but.... I really liked those."

"The Gloaming? Wait, you guys were behind the gloaming?"

"Zane was. I just helped sometimes, when I could."

"That party had a good rep! heard stories about it!" She says

"Yeah?" He grins "I don't remember seeing you there."

"There was a girl like me, but with eshu blood, I think."

"She's who I heard it from" A smile

"You know her?" a bright grin "I've thought about her, I hope she's ok, I know her parents are kind of strict....."

"yeah, she was bummed"

"If you see Amara, please tell her Adam says Hey? Just for old times sake?"

"Sure" A nod

"Thanks." After a beat "And thanks for coming out with me."

"Not a problem.. you're my date, my entire focus is you and.. ooo trailers" munch

"Oooo...." he echoes, not without humor, and kisses her hair as they both turn to watch the REAL start of the film.

And the movie is.. well, it depends on how your expecations were! it's not as much action as she wanted... but the parts that are there are good. Some comedy is found in the incredible sliding accents!

"I have never been to Scotland" The Eshu admits "And I think she and I have something in common"

"Yeah?"

"Neither one of us knows what a Scottish accent really sounds like for more than a minute" A grin and she laughs. It would appear she's having a good time even if it's only an okay movie

Adam laughs.

with a few moments that are actually cool!

"Whoa" At one of the good parts "Okay, that was bad ass"

"Oh, cool." Munching popcorn. "Hey, can Fae do any of this stuff?"

"Summon armor from the ether , swords too? Turn into wolves, super strength...and fly ? Ah.. yeah" A grin "Mind you, not saying I can"

"Cool."

A little wistful.

"Hey, golden boy, you've got gifts... " She says "You do. And the fates will open them all when the time is right"

"Yeah. People keep saying that. When they're not saying they don't know why it hasn't happened yet." He snuggles a bit. "Nevermind. Think this devil bear is going to kill one of them?"

"Might..sometimes they off a side character ..so the stakes are 'real'"

She squeezes his hand

"Mmm." he agrees.

"Ooops. Nope. It killed the bad guy."

"What were the odds?" She grins

Adam offers her a chocolate.

She protests "Oh I really shouldn't" And then she does

He feeds it to her with a smile.

And the titles roll!

"Okay, that was not a good movie" She says licking her lips "But I had fun anyway. Thanks"

He watches her clean the salt off her lips. "I had a good time too. You're welcome."

"So, want to drive away to find a place where we can social distance and walk together?"

"Uh, yeah, if you want. But we just spent 4 hours about 3 feet from each other and not all of it with a mask so......"

A laugh "I mean, we keep OTHERS six feet away from us... you're..well... I don't want to say 'safe'" A wink "but you're a risk I find I like"

"Oh! Ok, yeah. Hey, maybe we can find somewhere, you know.... a little private? Like, not to worry about other people."

"Exactly" And they pull over near a wood, and walk, hand in hand in the night
