Adam cleans the mews, thoughtful but smiling; the expression of one who has a pleasant, satisfying plan.

"Good work , apprentice" Sir Sergei says

"Thank you, Sir!" he responds well to praise. "Anything else after this?"

"Unless you wish to go out hunting. I suppose not"

"I, uh, I kinda had something I wanted to do but.... it could wait. If you want me to go with you."

"What did you wish to do? If I may ask" He says

"Uh..... I, uh, I was going to ask Alanza out. On a date."

"Ah, I see you are already hunting." He nods "Carry on"

A grin, and Adam finishes up quickly but thoroughly.

And soon Adam is gone to find Alanza

He may have an idea of where to look?

Actually.. he's not sure what room she's in. It's not the suite. But one of the boggans who works here probably know. He sees Charity. She changes linens

"Hi, uh, Charity, right?"

"Yes? " she turns "oh, Adam, yes? Can I help you?"

"Hi." He smiles, and he's pretty dazzling for a mortal. "Do you know where I could find Alanza? She's the eshu working for Sir Sergei."

"Oh her suite is over ..." She names the location, "She shares it with another girl"

"Yeah? Cool. Who?"

"Oh I don't remember." A pause

"Oh, that's ok. At least I know someone's there. Thanks!" Another flash of a grin and off he goes!

He finds the suite mentioned. One door to it, of course.

He brushes his hair back (the short cut is getting longer now) and knocks.

The door opens, a female troll opens the door and eyes him "yes?"

"Hey. Is Alanza here? I'm Adam."

"Oh." A pause "Second" She closes the door and calls out "Alanza, it's that Adam guy"

"Crap..." Alanza says "Five minutes?"

"Sure!"

The door opens the troll says "Five minutes" Door just a crack

And Adam offers the troll his hand. "Hi."

She eyes the hand through the crack but doesn't take it. "Hello"

He lifts both hands, palms facing her in a near-surrender pose. "Ok. Five minutes." and he backs away to lean against the opposite wall.

and he waits.

Then the Eshu comes out in a nice blouse and with her hair really shiny "hey, sorry for the wait"

"Wow.... " He pushes off the wall, eyes on her. "No, hey, I just dropped by. You look great."

"Thanks" She tilts her head, a smile "Flattery works pretty nicely on me."

A snort from behind the door.

He offers his hand for her to take. "Listen, I was wondering....."

Alanza takes it "Yes?"

"You want to go to the movies sometime? This weekend?"

"What movie?" She says, playing NOT too easy go get

"What do you want to see? I mean.... I had an idea, maybe one of those pop-up drive in's?"

"Well, I like action movies" She says "Do you like action movies?"

"Yeah!"

"Then.. excellent" Alanza smiles

"And yes" She adds "I'll go out with you on a movie night. Dutch?"

"Aw, no." almost disappointed "It's my treat, I'm the one asking."

"Okay, but I buy the popcorn"

His shoulders slump and he looks to heaven. "What is it with girls not letting a guy treat?"

"oh poor baby" She says "Is it really that big a burden I might try to chip in?"

Alanza looks more amused

"It's the principle."
