"I'm doing the asking, so I'm the one doing the paying. I'm treating you. That's what that means; I buy. No obligation on your part, right? Just come to the movies with me and have a good time. We'll have something to talk about after."

"But I'm a person, like you... and why do you assume your own company has no value? Are you less of a person?" She counters

Adam stops, looks at her. His expression is hurt for just a moment.

"Oh don't do that" she says alamred

"No. But sometimes it feels like others might think that."

"Fine fine... you can pay for everything the FIRST Date" Alanza says

Then he shrugs, throwing the hurt off.

"You sure?"

"Yes, just.. don't get the pouty eyes.. they're killing me" She huffs "And if I thought you were less a person I'd not have said yes"

That makes him smile. "Thanks for that."

"Shouldn't thank me for being just decent," She kisses his cheek "But you're welcome."

He squeezes her hand at the kiss. "So... tonight?"

"Awesome! It's a little bit of a drive, is that ok?"

"When do I need to be ready?"

"Mmm.... 6?"

"They have to start the movies after dark. Drive-in, outside, you know."

"Okay. Six. " She smooths his shirt

"Oh, Alanza, you could do that all day if you want." he invites with a grin.

Amused look, "What, not enough hugs as a kid?"

"No, my folks are great. But I like it when you touch me. It feels good."

A blush "Well, Eshu do know just where to go" Slyly

"Mmm...." he takes a step closer "Where do you want to go just now?"

"Ha, getting a shower to get the bird smell off" A wink

"Sounds great!" with a wicked grin.

"ALONE" She laughs "the shower you take alone"

"Aaaawwww!!!"

"Shoo" she gives a playful swat

"See you at 6." He whispers in her ear and kisses her cheek before heading to his room.

She smiles

And off he goes
