There was a nice date, walking, talking... hand holding. And.. well, it ended with a kiss

Adam is a pretty good kisser.

"Nice" Alanza smiles after "Very nice. "

"I'd like more." He says honestly, resting his forehead on hers.

"My suitemate will get protective" She laughs softly forehead to forehead.

"Mine won't...." softly, with a kiss to the bridge of her nose.

"Shoo" She laughs, grabbing the door behind her, and slipping in "And.. thanks for a nice night"

"No, thank you...." he breathes, as if he would go after her even if he stays where he is.

And smiling she goes behind the door, and it closes.

Adam sighs and shoves off the wall, heading for his own room.

He enters into his shared suite , and sees Betty is awake there. "Assembled and improved this thing for you"

"What thing?"

"This" She gestures to the demolition game

"Oh, that? You got it to work?"

"Please. I'm a nocker.. if I were allowed to cuss at and slap them around I could get CONGRESS to work"

"Well.... I mean, I think I found something else. Want me to toss it?"

"What? TOSS IT?" A snort "I just FIXED it. IMPROVED it! "

"Oh. Show me?"

And she demonstrates the game, and things do pop out, or blow apart, only to reform. It has a sound track

"Was the sound track there to start with?"

"Nope." She says "What? Imagine Dragons isn't fae enough?"

"It is! I mean... I like 'em."

"Well, don't start that 'they're the new nickelback' crap. " She glowers "Folks are just looking for a new hate train to jump on there"

"Too much hate....."

"Darn straight" She nods "Anyway, it's ready for your nephew"

"Or your cousin or whoever it was"

"Oh... uh....."

"What?" She says

"Well. I might wait till the next holiday."

"What the? Why, what's wrong with this ?" A BROW

"Nothing! Just... you know, presents."

"Okay.. yeah, but if it's a good p;resent why aren't you giving it to them?" She says leess riled but confused

" 'cause it's not anyone's birthday or Christmas?"

"Well, here .." She hands it over "go put it in storage or wahtever" Ahrumph

"Ok." He puts it on the coffee table.

"Hey, good work on the game."

"Unless... you know someone who might use it better?"

"Rather than let it just rot? Oh I don't know.. ANYONE?" She says "Heck, you could donate it to the hold here and folks would like it"

"Cool, let's do that."

She looks mollified and adds "that's actually furking nice of you" Betty then asks "You have a good date?"

"Yeah. The movie sucked but the company was good. You blow anything up?"

"Not really, but I knocked things down. My designs got reviewed by Dame Agincourt. She thinks a three prong battering ram is really ambitious"

"Three? Where does the other one go?"

"Into the wall" She says "They're all lined up on top of each other with alternating hammering"

Adam smirks, clears his throat. "Uhh.... powerful."

"Damn straight.. now if I can just it from threatening to launch backwards... " Mmmph

"Threatening?"

"Very technical, very technical" she says

"Oh, well, uh, I'm sure I don't understand."

"That's okay. To each their own gifts... Sir Sergei says you're competent. In Varich talk that's like nearly adopting you"
