"Dagmar, I want to sleep here tonight. It's too hot inside and the hay is nice and cool."

Gerd hurumphs "Well, I'm not crazy about that, but you are a squire now so... it's kind of like camping with a knight"

Phone out, text. "Star needs me, sleeping in stable"

"Does Star want a cake?" Offering to help however he can think of.

"No cake." Gently. "Star, I'm betting you are tired of the treasure-bridle? I'll take it off."

Her tail swishes as friskily as a filly as she licks the fragment of cake, and a few more wet passes to make sure no crumbs are gone. Then lowers her head to remove the bridle.

Gerd says "It's the horses world, we're just living in it"

She gently removes the bridle and scritches Star's ears.

"I'll be here with you."

"Can we visit the Dog's World someday? Maybe there's an island with dogs on it."

"I bet there is."

"Maybe I'll take you to the grand council of Westminster "Gerd offers "I hear dog pookas have been fooling humans for years by having their congress televised and getting away with it"

"We'll go and meet all the pups." She sits on the cot - Star in the loose-box, big enough for foaling... or to fit the horse, a cot, and a few fae.

"The Baron raises dogs AND horses. Maybe he has some puppies I could play with. I like puppies."

She leans back against the stall wall, closing her eyes. A tired grin. "CJ is pretty cute."

Star has laid down, after a few grunts to tuck her feet for comfort, and rests her head on Dagmar's pillow. Connor uses one of her flanks as a pillow, and she doesn't object.
